Velocipastor. Totally worth the one hour and ten minutes.
tell me more, brotherVelocipastor. Totally worth the one hour and ten minutes.
tell me more, brother
It’s streaming on Tubi.
A priest can turn into a velociraptor and kills pimps and ninjas basically.
Still trying to figure out the ninjas part...
Anyway, It’s in no way meant to be taken as some deep film but I thought it was a totally fun watch.
Kinda. But in Matrix an external, malicious power creates a fake world with intent. Similarly, in Total Recall the same happens.
I mean waking up from a dream. Basically a reversal of someone falling asleep and then dreaming of an ideal. In my case, some lives a normal/good life, and wakes up. To a whole different life (not necessarily good/bad).
Doesn't seem like such a novel idea, so I thought I'd get lots of recommendations.
It really is an underappreciated film.
Vanilla Sky kind of fits that mold imho. Don't know if you've seen it or not, or if it scratches the itch you're talking about.
One movie I saw that I really liked, my biggest surprise of the lockdown, was Nocturnal Animals. It looks great, the acting is good, the way the stories intertwine is interesting, I think it’s just really good.
Dirty as fuck, grimy as fuck, greasy as fuck, creepy as fuck, suspenseful as fuck. Even better than I remembered it. Not recommended.

The plattformWhat’s good on Netflix for horror these days?
I sort of want to watch one soon. Seen anything above average to great regarding horror genre on there?
Was feeling low energy so flipped on the Netflix for and saw The Social Network was on there and doing the 'I'll just watch 5 minutes' I had to watch it the whole thing through again. (no regrets) I know a lot of people really love Zodiac, but I've gotta say I think TSN is Fincher's best film by a long way. This scene, in particular, is superb: -
I know you're supposed to root for Edwardo to some degree, but honestly, Parker had a much bigger vision of what Facebook could be and Ed just comes across as a bit resentful throughout. In truth, I never got the sense Eduardo really earnt his stake in the company versus simply having the cash to help Zuckerberg early on and it never seems like any of his business decisions lead to anything. Still feel a bit sorry for him that he got screwed, but then again neither of the other two dudes in the dorm room from what I can tell.
Started watching spike Lee's new film on Netflix "da 5 bloods". Got about 30 min in and it's really bad... Worth finishing? Shame because I really liked blackklansman
really hard to find good movies nowadays, need to start looking at foreign selections more I guess
I thought Zodiac was a torturous slog, TSN was a breeze, really enjoyed it.
Zodiac had one of the most tense scenes of all time
It was well made I just remember having a tough time sitting through it, I remember it being very long and drawn out.
Is Rambo: Last Blood any good or is it total shit?
King of Staten Island
meh/10
Pete Davidson can barely act, and the plot was dumber than rocks with all the characters insufferable or forgettable
A coming of age flick about a grown ass 24 year old man. Fucking pathetic. that was the point? dude was just annoying
Marissa Tomei is still a babe. Bill Burr saved the film from being a complete waste. Angry Bill Burr is always a gem
Watch for Burr and Tomei and realize youre too cantankerous to relate to Pete Davidson
Mike shannon is my man.that movie was depressing. Jake Gyllenhaal's my guy, but the other characters can burn especially armie hammer i really don't like his voice for some reason. mike shannon's alright
Mike shannon is my man.
I love every movie he is in it.
My favorites
I just found this classic movie on youtube
Just watched this a few days ago. I love Stallone but here's my review...
It's a good movie to watch if you're on your phone most of the time and occasionally look up to make fun of how bad it is.
Plus, the movie makes one unbelievably bad mistake halfway through. Like, I have no idea why the writers thought it was a good idea.
With that being said, the last two or three minutes of the movie (credits?) hit me hard in the feels.

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see Portrait of a Lady on Fire on your list. You should check it out.
The extended cut is decent. It's still feels like its missing a proper second act and the dialogue could have used another pass though. I still prefer Rambo as an endpoint but Last Blood has its moments. Is Rambo: Last Blood any good or is it total shit?
