Still trying to figure out the ninjas part...
Anyway, It’s in no way meant to be taken as some deep film but I thought it was a totally fun watch.

Dude ends up after sleeping in an entire different life. Good movie for sure.
Basically dream the movie, some people in there stay forever ( entire life ) in a dream. just to die then wake up and only a few hours are passed. It drives people nuts. really good movie.
Older movie dude goes to sleep experiences the whole day then goes to sleep or dies and wakes up again and again and again at the same day.
Another groundhog movie kind of movie, dude gets infused with alien dna which results in him redoing the entire war over and over again.
While ago i saw this one, good movie. her husband dies in car crash but when she wakes up he's alive and he never died, then next day he is dead again and kid is injured, next day he's there again. Something like that. Everytime she sleeps things change and its getting dangerious for her for some reason so she got to figure it out.
Can't exactly remember the movie anymore story wise i gotta rewatch it so i could be a bit off.
I post it because i just ended up remembering it.

Little Women (2019) - Blu Ray
I had never seen any of the Little Women adaptations and so this was my first. My wife loved the 1994 version and was excited to see the new one. The story was slightly confusing because it keeps jumping back and forth in time, the story isn't presented chronologically. Lose focus for a second and you won't realise what is going on. I enjoyed the film and thought Saoirse Ronan and Florence Pugh were great as Jo and Amy. The struggles that Jo goes through really are quite tame compared to other films but the pay off at the end is well worth it.
If you have never seen any of the films either I'd recommend watching one of the others first.
Little Women (1933) - Amazon Prime
We then decided to watch all the adaptations that we had access to and I ultimately enjoyed the 1933 version the best so far. Katherine Hepburn is even better as Jo, she really comes across as a tomboy who doesn't care about love or anything like that and seeing her transform as a person throughout the film is rewarding. Douglass Mongomery is also much better as Laurie and his friendship with Jo is way more believable. Bah, everything about this film is just good, best version.

Meanwhile the 1994 version just feels .... off. Winona Ryder is totally miscast as Jo, too soft spoken and too feminine for my liking. Christian Bale didn't suit Laurie. Certain beats were changed and chronologically some things were changed. I can't recommend this one, sorry if there are any lovers of this version out there.

that movie was depressing. Jake Gyllenhaal's my guy, but the other characters can burn especially armie hammer i really don't like his voice for some reason. mike shannon's alright

Was feeling low energy so flipped on the Netflix for and saw The Social Network was on there and doing the 'I'll just watch 5 minutes' I had to watch it the whole thing through again. (no regrets) I know a lot of people really love Zodiac, but I've gotta say I think TSN is Fincher's best film by a long way. This scene, in particular, is superb: -
I know you're supposed to root for Edwardo to some degree, but honestly, Parker had a much bigger vision of what Facebook could be and Ed just comes across as a bit resentful throughout. In truth, I never got the sense Eduardo really earnt his stake in the company versus simply having the cash to help Zuckerberg early on and it never seems like any of his business decisions lead to anything. Still feel a bit sorry for him that he got screwed, but then again neither of the other two dudes in the dorm room did from what I can tell, save Dustin.

Marissa Tomei is still a babe. Bill Burr saved the film from being a complete waste. Angry Bill Burr is always a gem
Watch for Burr and Tomei and realize youre too cantankerous to relate to Pete Davidson

Whiplash is the last 10/10 movie I've seen. Recommend it to just about everyone. It's a better Rocky movie than either Creed film, by an order of magnitude.

Really enjoyed this one. It's nicely shot and the entire "1 take" style makes it extremely engrossing, felt like it was going for a similar vibe than Dunkirk but overall did it much better and was more fun to watch. One of the few movies I've seen in the past 2 years that bumped me out about there not being a movie theater in my town. Must have been amazing in IMAX

Just watched this a few days ago. I love Stallone but here's my review...
It's a good movie to watch if you're on your phone most of the time and occasionally look up to make fun of how bad it is.
Plus, the movie makes one unbelievably bad mistake halfway through. Like, I have no idea why the writers thought it was a good idea.
With that being said, the last two or three minutes of the movie (credits?) hit me hard in the feels.

Recently saw "the Highway Men" and was impressed with the acting. I haven't seen great acting in movies for awhile. However, every now and then there's one that sticks out. I'm not giving anything away for spoilers. Pretty sure Netflix produced it and you'll find it there.

Ford vs. Ferrari - watched this on HBO. I can see why this movie got so much praise last year. Bale and Damon can carry any movie. The acting and casting was spot on. The racing scenes were so much fun to watch. I was a big fan of the movie Rush because of the racing scenes and I felt the same here. Highly recommend it.

Drop the "The", just Netflix. It's cleaner.

Finally watched this, didn't come to the cinemas back when I was in the Philippines so that annoyed me. This movie is insane though, very enjoyable but by god is it weird as well. I don't want to describe or mention anything as I don't want to spoil anything. Willem Dafoe is great and Robert Pattinson continues to prove that he is an exceptional actor. There are a fair few scenes that made my wife and I laugh out loud too.

Boiling Point - Super cool japanese crime story that is directed by and stars Takeshi Kitano. Very raw and very beautifully shot. Story of a regular joe getting into trouble with the local Yakuza and choosing to fight back.
Magnum Force - The best entry in the Dirty Harry series. Good story, great action and chases. Cant ask for more from this type of film. Sad the later entries could not replicate this quality.

The extended cut is decent. It's still feels like its missing a proper second act and the dialogue could have used another pass though. I still prefer Rambo as an endpoint but Last Blood has its moments.
