I haven’t seen the second one yet. First one was good. Couple effective scares from what I remember

Watch the second one. It will make you feel uneasy. I thought it was an EA event for the first few minutes, but it got even worse.

For real unease then watch the V/H/S movies too.

Funny? I didn't know Jim Carrey was in the film haha. I see what you mean. but yes the sequel was designed for jump scares, but rightly so the last movie should be fun to watch. But placing yourself in her shoes during the last 20 mins in the last movies would've been terrifying.

I saw the second one and i thought it was insufferable to sit through. I didnt find it scary or compelling at all.

i get triggered by observations like this about horror movies, i know you didn't mean in a negative way but there is a expectation about horror movies to be like haunted houses when the genre is so much more than that.
