Wow, weird--I actually HAVE seen M. Ward live. I saw him last year while he was touring with my morning jacket at the Irving Plaza in NYC. He opened for them and later joined in MMJ's performance.

He's an odd guy up there, he's so weird as he stares into the audience. He's got a lot of...spirit. A lingering ghostly spirit. His words will get you down your spine.

Good show.

I haven't seen him live but listening to his last two albums makes me really sad that I can't go see the show that he's playing close to me.
