I'd never seen one until a few dropped through my letterbox this morning. Click the thumbnail, some interesting text, not that I'm a geek, or anything.
Though they might be of interest here. Not that we're geeks, or anything...
:)

Nah, just got Euro (it's not PAL - not connected to a TV is it? :)) games for now. hey are the same though.
And Demi - as soon as they are available I guess.
Might have to spin it into a PR thing...
Email me.

er, Folder is great? That enough for you?

Interesting picture, but its an fyi, and doesn't really need a reply - a bump after only an hour is a bit narcissistic, ne?

Any news you can share about region coding? Does the game work on US/JPN region consoles or are the twats at SCEE sticking in region coding?

I'm from the UK though. I'll be getting a US PSP and US games anyway but some Euro games may come out sooner and of course I can rent Euro games before I buy them. I wouldn't be able to do that with US games

It's a shame that you think that's my motivation for sharing something like this here. It isn't.

surely doesn't matter - who'd import a PAL game!?
It's not PAL, it's European. And given these versions are much later, I think you might find that various upgrades/improvements have been added.

But PAL is so much shorter to say than "European". And, as with the PS2, Europe and Australia are in the same PSP region, so it's not completely incorrect anyway...

In any case, nobody's going to buy PSP games from Europe for the simple reason that there aren't any for the next three and a half months. I might re-buy Metal Gear Acid when it comes out over here in the UK if there's any bug fixes and/or enhancements (like with MGS3) but other than that I can't see myself doing anything other than getting import games for my (import) PSP.

folder,

it's a promo copy of the game - i believe you got it in a blank psp case?
the equivalent on the ps2 would be those silver disks that you find in slim blue CD cases.

it _is_ quite interesting to see these, i wonder what the current cost of manufacture of UMDs are...?

These are just pre-production discs and have been in circulation for months. Is there really anything special about them? They do work on all PSPs, but however, the games don't all have improvements. While Ridge Racer is identical to Racers, Pure has the online mode hacked out of it.

Really? Is that just for the promo copies, or is it an indication that the European version won't have the online mode?
