I posted this a couple pages back. I think it's what you're looking for:
I noticed that case wen I was scrolling back a few pages, I'm not sure I'm sold on that design though.

Of course it can, depending on your needs. That's the answer in every scenario: Yes, depending on your needs.
stupid question, i JUST got back home from buying a sexy white 32gb ipad 2 (caved in versus waiting for the 3) and I need to update to iOS 5.01 but was wondering and can't remember, does this update fuck with battery life or actually fix it as the releases indicate?

It's supposed to fix it, some people have found it to be worse or the same. Mainly deals with iPhone 4S battery though
I haven't noticed any difference, personally. I have the same iPad 2 as you got.
That's some strong logic
Thinking about getting an iPad 2 now, then getting a 1 yr protection plan on it from Best Buy, then in the Summer time trash it and they'll give me an iPad 3
=P
:O Wont you just get a refurbished iPad 2 instead?

A friend of mine is going to New York and I'm thinking of asking him to pick up an iPad 2 since I would save a lot of money because of the -$ exchange rate. Question is, is there any sort of region lock or problem with software that I should be aware of or is it all the same? Apple's warranty works worldwide right?
Anyone? Thanks.
No. I bought mine abroad (in a non-English speaking country, actually) and have had no problems whatsoever with my US iTunes and iCloud accounts.

Must be using it wrong, Tobor told me his padbased computer is a computer replacement.
Yay I guess, as long as they get it so keyboards wouldn't break between OS revisions or something. Or just implement a better way of moving the cursor on the standard keyboard/text fields.
Get a Logitech keyboard case. It's light and doubles as a cover. I've been using it all the time for writing lately and it works great. Anyone who thinks onscreen keyboards will ever be good for serious writing is an idiot. Every last problem he mentioned has already been solved. He could have found that out if he spent as much time searching as he did bitching.I really enjoy my iPad, but as a writer, there's no way in hell I'd use it for anything to do with typing (for the reasons listed above).
I understand that there are technical limitations that we'll be forced to endure with touchscreens (until technology allows them to bend/raise the physical screen itself), but the lack of arrow keys is fucking infuriating when it comes to making even the simplest post.
How do I browse iTunes music on iPad/iPhone? It's not in the app store.
Use the iTunes app? It's on the iPhone by default and can't be removed.
I don't seem to have it. It's not anywhere.
Search for it, impossible not to be there.
Why the hell is the iPad music app so inferior to the iPhone/iTouch one? No Random button, no directlinks to podcasts iTunes page, no way to manage the menu on the bottom etc.
Restrictions in Settings. It's possible. I don't have it. It's not in my one folder, and it's not on any of the pages. I remember what it looks like and that it used to be there.
Is it possible I somehow uninstalled or disabled it?
Can anyone recommend a cheap case that covers both the front and back? This Targus one I got for 10 bucks is a piece of shit.
I been looking at getting a TPU cover for the back with the cutouts for a smart cover.
Something like this http://www.tuaw.com/2011/09/28/cool-bananas-smartshell-complements-your-smart-cover-in-tpu/
Just thought I'd share this little story..
So a few days ago my mum calls up and asks me to recommend her a laptop. I asked her the budget she wants to spend and she says £300.
Now I instantly said, "Don't buy a laptop, get an ipad. It will cost more, but it will be perfect for you". I was thinking of getting her one at some point next year as it goes.
So I told her to at least check one out (she had never seen one in person before) and let me know what she thinks.
Now this is something to keep in mind. My mum does not part with cash easily whatsoever. She simply does not spend that kind of money. I was expecting her to give it at least 2 weeks to think about. Even with something like an ipad I thought she would need to think about it.
She runs into so many issues with a PC it can be frustrating but I was convinced the ipad would be perfect for her.
So I call her up today to find out what she thought. She tells me she just spent a ridiculous amount of money on a gadget.
My face was this O_O.. I had to confirm she bought an ipad and indeed she did.
Fucking bravo Apple. Honestly. She bought the 32gb one so that's £480. And she absolutely loves it. And finds it ridiculously easy to use. It was great listening to her talk about how much she loves it. Said how she loves the keyboard, and how easy it is to do everything.
My mind is still blown.. honestly.
Stupid question, how can iPad 2 automatically check and download apps/games that has a newer version when available in the store?
Is the ability to rate songs disabled in iPod on the iPad now with iOS 5?
No, it's just not as easy to find, unfortunately. You have to tap the album artwork to make it fill the screen, then tap the song list button in the bottom right.
