Yea it will. It's like any other new apple device line. Early adopters are developers getting new stuff made for the platform. They have a consumer focused device coming later

What people haven't realized yet is that income inequality has become so wide, and manufacturing of cutting edge technology so complex, that companies actually make more money selling low volume at exorbitant prices to the top 20% of society. Apple doesn't want or need the middle class buying this thing. Nor does Nvidia want the middle class buying a 4080/4090, they want you paying them a perpetual $20 Geforce Now subscription fee.
