Am I mistaken, or did they remove the ability to see previously played songs in Music? I've looked all over, there was a song on the radio station I was listening to, but I can't find the recently played list, just Up Next. It used to be right above Up Next in iOS 9.

Previously played is now in the For You section, but I'm not sure if it shows the same information...

It took me two tries but yeah I got it working after this post. I had to reset my phone and scale for some weird reason.
Don't forget that the Withings scale also has wifi. If it fails to connect straight to your phone via BT, it will upload the measurings to their servers, and they will show up on your app anyway. It may take a while.

My scale almost never connects to my phone through Bluetooth, since the pairing process is the worst I have ever seen

Thanks but it only seems to show the station/playlist so it appears to be completely useless for finding out the previously played song. Discoverability seems to have decreased a bit.

You took a picture of something that has a screenshot function

I'm aware... my posts are about how my Mac is basically unusable since I updated to Sierra. Couldn't take a screenshot or do anything with it if I wanted to.

But again if anyone else is having problems like that, start unplugging USB things because it stopped when I unplugged my Razer mouse.

Were you that post on Reddit too?

I've been wanting to wipe my iMac and start fresh for a while, but it's been a looooooong time since I've done something like that so I don't remember how it works. Assuming I back everything up beforehand, when I update to Sierra is there an option to do like a clean install?

There's not a specific option but it's really easy to do, don't worry about creating a bootable USB and all that stuff.

- Update to Sierra
- Back-Up(!)
- Reboot into Recovery Mode (cmd+R at start up chime)
- Use Disk Utility to erase Mac HD
- Once erased, back out to the main Recovery menu and select Re-Install OS
- Once installed the system will reboot and the 'new Mac' set-up process will begin

Sierra had some issues in the beta. Lack of polish, but to be expected. My main Mac that I use is a Mac mini with an AMD video card, so I always feel things are going to be a bit rocky.

I thought that process would restore back to the original OS that the machine was built with?

It does. I go back to Mavericks on my mid-2014 rMBP. You can always pre-install the OS you want to go straight to it, least I did that when I last bothered with a factory reset. It's been a while. I should get around to it, but I have so much to clean up.

Anyone using Photoshop's save for web function? That crashed the second macos beta for me, even after clean install.

All the time because transparent avatars are too hot a commodity. I just did one the other day, even. It's been fine for me. I don't remember it crashing, but I did also jump in on PB3 since I was on vacation through the first 2.

I went back to El Capitan. If Sierra will be more stable, I'll try it again (with a backup this time!)

My largest issue with it has been Safari's speed, if anything. Aside from that, it's worked surprisingly well for me. What issues have you encountered?

Yep that's what happened to me the last time I did that in the beta.

I did a Sierra clean install yesterday and that's exactly how I did it.
Hit reinstall OS, signed in and then Sierra started (re)downloading. 100% no mistaking it.
A recent change perhaps...?

I hate the fact that you cannot group notification by app anymore, not to mention that the new notifications take too much space on the home screen.

Is there any way to clear all the notification at once on devices without 3D Touch?

How do I install the GM to Apple Watch? Do I have to install the profile to the watch?

Would like to know whether you can remove the profile afterwards to get off the beta hype train.

Also for tvOS, can you remove the profile after you upgraded to the tvOS10 GM?

I'd push both my watch and ATV to the GM builds but I don't want to be stuck on the beta channel.

Quick warning about installing prerelease software on Apple Watch, even a GM: Unlike iOS and macOS, you cannot go back to previous release versions without sending it to Apple.

...

Yes, you can delete it from the Apple Watch application.

Thanks, downloading watchOS 3 right now (already deleted the profile after the first restart & initiating the GM download).

I forgot how abysmal the performance of the AW is after restarting (restart alone took 2-3 minutes). It's still lagging a bit after several minutes.

Oh ok thanks, why would they require an additional step for people that already are in the beta program though?

Well as has been said you get an email about it. I think it's because downloading the GM might take you off the beta upgrades but I'm not sure.

It's just called "Sierra" in the App store once you redeem the code.

I still don't understand why didn't put it as an update to beta 8 though... well whatever, installing right now.

Hmm. Installed the profile on watch and updated my iPhone to iOS 10 but the watch app is saying 2.2.1 is the most recent for the watch

Will try deleting and reinstalling the profile on the watch

Updated to Sierra on my main machine, as well as the iOS10 GM. Zero issues so far on both. Most stable 1.0 releases I've ever used from Apple.

iOS10 is a really impressive release by Apple. A shitload of large and small changes and refinements, even if it isn't all immediately obvious. Sierra is a much smaller update, but lays down some big foundations with Siri and further integration.

Aw yeah.
