As has been said before, Micro-USB can't support simultanious HDMI out and charging, hence the need for their own pin-out configuration.

I'm finally investing in a smartphone after all these years, and I was hoping Apple would give me a clear reason to go iOS.

Now I can't decide between iPhone 5 or a good Android phone. I'm going to be agonizing over this all weekend...

iPhone 5 looks fantastic, but I think overall some are starting to get "worn out" by the static grid look. iOS, IMO, is in major need of a UI overhaul.

Still a great looking phone though.

It's a good upgrade. It's not revolutionary or deserving of all the (!!!!)s that fanboys give it, nor is it as remotely bad/bland as haters will label it. It's a phone. A really good phone.

I was expecting something like the jump from the 3GS to iPhone 4. Instead Apple just stretched a 4S and slapped a new number on it.

I have a 4S and I use Siri constantly, I find it much faster.
