It seems there's some complex circuitry happening in that adapter. Why else would it be so large?
I'm on 3gs and I'm not impressed. Then I don't need a shit load of power to browse the internet. So since I'm still on a 3GS I should still upgrade right? All of you people not impressed or whatever are on 4s and not really needing the upgrade?
daaang EarPods are $29, same as the old ones? I think so http://store.apple.com/us/product/MD827/apple-earpods-with-remote-and-mic
...wat?I like the attention to detail in the fact that the symbol on the home button is a circle, cause that's the shape of the icons.
Pre-event thoughts:
And... post-game.
I was surprised by only one thing in the event: dynamic LTE antenna. I was wondering how they were going to address the massive confusion of SKUs for every region with LTE and it sounds like they solved the case.
Does this mean one SKU in America, not three?
My feeling is that while its a nice phone, as someone with a 4S you have to do some deep DEEP soul searching to justify upgrading to it right now. As stated in the earlier thread, I'll wait for the 5S and see the phone they *really* wanted to build.
About $28 too much. Get real headphones.
I wonder when the store will open for online preordering.
don't listen to this human being. 3GS is a piece of shit in comparison for the retina display alone. That's just how it is. Maybe not a big deal for you but it's a huge damn deal in general. That's ignoring absolutely everything else.I'm on 3gs and I'm not impressed. Then I don't need a shit load of power to browse the internet.
I wish the back was all one colour.

There is not nearly enough Panorama talk in this thread. It was apparently one of the biggest features.
Man. So sold on the 5.
Going to sell my 4S.
64 GB iPhone 5... here I come!
*Also, yes, I was wrong with my name prediction![]()
Looks like two models in the US: http://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/

Hmm I have an old 3GS but I think I have an unlimited data plan. I guess I should call them and ask them what they can do for me. I don't want to have to worry about going over some limit.i read an article like a month ago that stated that if your grandfathered in your only option to get LTE is to upgrade your data plan.
im in the same predicament. i have an iphone 4 with unlimited data with at&t. i think sprint is the only carrier that has true unlimited LTE service. But im not sure how their service is.
edit: i have a friend who had unlimited data with at&t and an iphone. he upgraded his phone to a galaxy 3 and they gave him unlimited 4g service soooooooo i dunno.

Not to be blunt, but there's really no good reason at all for still having a 3GS at this point.
Why would you upgrade your phone after less than 12 months?
Do the panorama apps work like what they show in the video (@ 3:45)? If so, that's pretty great, never realized it was done so seamlessly, always thought they were apps that stitched multiple pictures together. The way it looks in the video makes it seem so effortless, just pan the phone and done.
Really?...wat?
Lemme guess, an Apple product owner?

4S owner myself and honestly can't get excited about it all, let alone purchasing one
always go for blackGoddamn, black and white both look so good ;_;
Can not choose!
Also: any word from AT&T to confirm we'll lose our grandfathered unlimited plans if we upgrade?
