I keep going back to this as my favorite Trek episode:

"In The Pale Moonlight"
tumblr_m8fkbqL1Zr1qfst7co1_500.jpg

Don't watch it out of context.

Edit: I guess you can watch it alone, but it works better in the context of the ongoing war.

Pale Moonlight is amazing.

Later season DS9 is so amazing.

Everyone look at DS9.

Even the sillier episodes - "One Little Ship" - are AMAZING.

Do not let the terribleness of Season 1 put you off.

Kira cannot act in Season 1, but she makes up for it.

I wished DS9 was replayed as much as TNG or the other series here. The high points in DS9 are so damn high. Just great stuff regardless of if you like star trek are not.

Heck I feel like TNG is on TV somewhere every day. Enterprise and Voyager get replayed a bunch as well but DS9 never got replayed to that extent.

Hopefully Trek gets added to UK/Ire Netflix at some point. Dont want to jump through the hoops to get on the US service.

SyFy currently has thre rights to air in he UK/Ire. They are on later Season 2 right now. New episodes are on every weekday at 6PM.

I have it set to record, and am working my way through it (I think this would be my fourth rewatch). Not watching every episode though - until it gets into he really solid stuff

Yeah I really liked that episode. I think I'm on the final season now, or at the end of the season before, can't remember.

One of the best things about the last seasons of DS9 is God Mode Worf. He can do no wrong as that series goes on.

He was booked all wrong in TNG - they assumed that his size and mean looks made him a de facto tough guy, so by that logic any enemy that hurt him was automatically something to be feared. But, you beat up on a tough guy long enough and he becomes nothing more than a comedy character. Thankfully, he was able to break out of the Kane cycle by jumping to a different promotion.

I've never watched a single Star Trek series in my life.

Episodes here and there, Movies here and there.

But just something from start to finish. Nope.

Am I seriously the only one here who loves Space: Above & Beyond? :(

Also, classic Doctor Who deserves a mention.

I've been trying to watch Farscape for the first time recently...it's not going well.

Never saw Space: A&B. Doctor Who, the old ones were neat, but all this new shit and the fandom surrounding it...what a fucking piece of shit it's turned to. Fucking horrible, and its fans are fools.

The trouble with Cena having the title is that all the potential match-ups for him as champion aren't interesting at all. They're mostly all predictable in outcome, because it's impossible to see Cena losing at this point, or have been done to death in the past few years.

S:AAB is well worth checking out, some of the acting is a bit cheesy by today's standards, but it's still one of the best militaristic sci-fi's out there - it kinda feels like Wing Commander, the TV series.

And yeah, I really don't like new Who, or the crazy fandom that has sprung up around it. I generally steer clear, even if I do happen to catch a new episode here and there, because they generally don't seem to appreciate people going on about how much better the classic series were, lol.

New Doctor who is pretty rad. i recommend giving David Tennats run a shot.

Matt Smith is not for everyone. thought i think more people hate amy and rory.

i thought eleccston did a great job.

I vaguly remember Space: Above & Beyond - mainly the pilot episode where the bad guys attack all the military complexes, but I never saw much more of it. I always wanted to, but I just completely forgot about it.

As for Doctor Who, I don't mind it, but I can easily do without it. I did watch all the news one back-to-back pretty much in a month up til about Season 4 then I just got sick of David Tennant's face.

Babylon 5 - I keep trying to get into this, but never find the time for it. I really want to see it all though as the concept is appealing.

Star Trek - I like Star Trek, don't really mind which show. Currently watching Enterprise for the first time via Netflix and I'm liking it.

I'm hoping for the new Outer Limits to make it on Netflix at some point as I remember catching random episodes here and there as a kid. Sand Kings pilot episode is still amazing.

I used to watch so much Sci-Fi as a kid it was unreal. Space Precinct ... yeah... wow actually, I had no idea that was from the UK!

We should take some time to remember Farscape

Oh shit, yeah Farscape! I still need to see how that all ends.

Ah crap, and staying up late to watch Lexx on CH5. What a strange show that was. Oh man US Netflix has Lexx.

Some people cannot get past them interacting with puppets

I think even the cast though it was weird at the start, but they they realized they could grab them, punch them, and at times throw them. They started to have fun with that from later season 1 onwards.

If the puppet interaction thing is your problem then I don't think you can get over it, but there is a great show there with great storylines too.

Also, it is one of the better shows for fantastic one off episodes (not related to the overall season arc). Some great stuff right up there wint Window of Opportunity (Stargate), Grace under Presure (Atlantis), and The Inner Light (TNG)

Ah crap, yeah, Stargate too! I need see how SG1 finished, what Atlantis was all about (you know... Atlantis obviously, but... yeah), and that Universe one too. So much Sci-Fi to watch alongside wrestling.

What the FUCK is up with Brock in this promo picture for Extreme Rules? He looks like Sloth;

He's realised he's been locked in a cage... WITH STEEL STEPS!

Man, Doctor Who, I don't get it at all. I gave it a chance because it seemed like it was tailor made for me to like it. It's British, and its fanbase is super passionate and heavily overlaps with the fanbase of many things that I like. I watched the movie and two seasons of it waiting for the magical moment for it to hook me (I had a lot of free time) and it never happened.

Brock looks like he got punched in the junk.

Also, I think I'm due for another Trek universe re-watch.

In this order:
Enterprise ->TOS-> TAS -> Original Cast Movies -> TNG/DS9 -> TNG Movies/DS9/Voyager

They sure have a lot of Trek On Netflix.

Speaking of which, I've been watching old Bond Flicks on there.

If I recall someone around here was a 007 hater.

They sure dropped Ryback's monster heel gimmick quick. So quick that he never even got to be a monster heel. I guess Vince stopped caring about him.

Some nice photos from WWE's EU tour - Switzerland got Cesaro vs Regal! Super jealous we didn't get to see it on TV - that's a REAL dream match, as far as I'm concerned.

BOOOOOO! Connery Bond is flat-out amazing and From Russia With Love is one of the greatest spy thrillers ever filmed.
