There is a large, vast gulf between "I think her points are terrible and she is not good at what she does" and "she is a terrible human being and wishing terrible things upon her".

Hell - I'd qualify myself as the first, and I actually like her; met her couple of times in RL, tend to run in similar social circles, had beverages and chatted with her for long periods of time. I may vehemently disagree with the viewpoints (w/r/t current theory in the topic being discussed) - but that's fairly normal. I'll second the comment about her being better in her later videos about point making.

Why is everyone hating on the Cena / Jericho podcast? I thought it was pretty decent. Cena shows why he is the man; Jericho likes to talk about himself and shoot the breeze, and Cena makes some veiled jabs at Reigns and himself. I approve.

There were no jabs at Roman. He said Roman was excellent and put it on the fans for refusing to accept company sponsored pushes anymore. The rest of the podcast was legit just shit you'd get from a DVD with added Jericho trying to bait Cena into telling people how cool he (Jericho) is over and over. Not a single tough question of any kind. In fact, the biggest question was the one Jericho acknowledged that everyone asks, which was about Cena turning heel. After a week on Tweeter saying he wasn't a company man and wasn't going to throw softballs. Dude wasn't even throwing softballs. More like the koosh koosh balls Rosie O'Donnell used to sling shot on her show.

I thought it was telling that he said that they "didn't know who the next guy would be" - thought that was a shot at Roman saying that he shouldn't expect that spot to be handed to him.

"Pro Wrestling Clinic" match is maybe the most cringe-inducing thing I've ever read. I wonder if Drew Galloway will be in the crowd to start a "This is Wrestling" chant?

No. He doesn't know because the fans won't accept whoever they say is the next guy in the way that Roman has been packaged. Which is a lot like what I said a few days ago, that we are in an era where the fans care more about raging against the machine than cheering for someone they like.

So I've only just discovered Bubble Gum, pretty cool dude.

Finally, we have all been missing some serious inspiration.

If you mean Bubblegum the UK wrestler I think he's brilliant, such an amazing shit bag character.

Anyway just watched Raw and loved the PTP and New Day segments - amazing what happens when people get to express themselves a bit, all of them came across as entertaining.

On the name thing I feel bad for Jason Albert; he was Prince Albert then lost his Princeness then worked his way slowly up to being Lord Tensai then was stripped of his Lordhood

Poor guy just wants to be in the aristocracy

I don't know why i'm interested in this, but i kinda am. Is EVOLVE as dry as i think it might be?

As I've said before, the modern smark is involved in some meta wrestling angle where WWE corporate and what's associated with them is the heel and they, the knowledgable fans who champion wrestling over sports entertainment, are the faces.

Bizarre shit.

In our effort to be hipster and counter-culture, we've become just the newest version of marks; but we're too faux self-aware to realize it?

Sounds good to me!

It depends on the show, but since the 'reboot' of sorts all the EVOLVE shows have at least had a good mix of styles and this one's no exception. Thatcher/Strong should be a great main event, Thatcher's a fantastic technical wrestler and the match should be livened up by Roddy's shitheel character. Gargano/Davey will undoubtedly be the overly long, dozens of nearfalls, unearned fighting spirituuu match of the night, Swann/Page should be good, Page is a solid base for flippy shit, while Busick/TJP will be an interesting mix of strongstyle and jr. heavyweight and that's probably the match I'm most looking forward to.

i wont lie, i'm a bit sad/depressed thinking some of you guys put me in the same category with people who harass and threaten women on a daily basis

meh, i didn't care for her at first because her methods for making her points were honestly really poor and she seemed amateur. but after seeing all of the shit that gets thrown her way i've reversed my stance because, holy fuck, there's a lot of really fucking awful people out there and i'm stunned (in a positive way) that she's kept going . that and the quality of the work she's been putting out has gotten better and she generally seems a lot better at making good points.

That's all I wanted, an explanation. I believe in you now. Even if a lot of your opinions are REALLY horrible and wrong. There is such a thing as a wrong opinion, after all.

Not a single tough question of any kind. In fact, the biggest question was the one Jericho acknowledged that everyone asks, which was about Cena turning heel. .

Jericho asked if John Cena had ever taken performance enhancing drugs. Given the culture and Cena's physique, that's a fine question to ask.

I think this is just a case of you not liking the interviewer or his subject.

Yeah there were a couple cringe questions where I thought I guess this is Jericho's last one of these, and Michael Cole will be doing these form now on, because Vince doesn't understand that its the hard questions and uncommon questions people want to know the answers too.

Not Cole in character saying "so John how does it feel to be US champ? Any message for Rusev?

How is that a tough question? Especially when the answer is obviously "Nope, never, I'm all nattie breh". That's a question he's been asked a ton of times. The interviewer sucked and wanted to make the interview more about him than his subject and it was embarrassing.

I can't believe HBO Now / Go has a Late Night section with all their softcore porn.

It's always midnight somewhere, right?

I could have used this 17 years ago.

Its amazing how tough things were to get just 15 -20 years ago.

Porn was not hard to get in the 90s. Unless you were a kid, I guess. There was porn online in 1995. Almost all video stores had a porn section. You could get Playboy at a lot of grocery and convenience stores. Porn has never been hard to get. Porn is everywhere. It's always been everywhere.

hahaha damn I thought there was a deeper reason within the Hispanic community, d'oh!

While we're talking about the 80s, why wasn't Hercules Hernandez more popular? Guy was freaking built. I guess he sort of sucked in the ring outside of brawler moves, but guy was built.

Oh, you meant Tito alone? Not sure.

I think younger wrestling fans, especially those from the internet age have a poor perspective on the history as most come from Wikipedia/WWE edited footage. Not picking on you or anyone in particular.

Basically, when you come to a red light and see one of those rainbow, yellow, or pink posters with a wrestling card listed, that was how things were times a thousand. Tito was popular around here because of a healthy Portuguese population (a link grasping at straws but it worked).

Still, unlike Hogan/Andre, most of those other guys might have not even been recognized by face. People might know the name really well, the gimmick, and have very little exposure to the character.

I've decided that you can categorize Wrasslin fans into two distinct camps.

Those who like the WM XII Ironman Match and those that think it is boring.

I'm on team like.

Looks like we're getting the Wrestlemania Axxess matches on NXT:

Don't miss the special WWE WrestleMania ‪#‎Axxess‬ edition of ‪#‎WWENXT‬ tomorrow at 8 ET, only on WWE Network!

Hope they filmed something from the house show too.

What, in your mind, is a tough question?

Because you seem dismissive of an hour-plus' worth of questions by Jericho.

I just heard Naomi's theme music for the first time.

"funk is on a roll"?
"there goes my mama"

oboy

She used to be one of two cheerleader valets for "The Funkasaurus" Brodus Clay, who came out to that song - first alone, then later with his tag team partner Sweet T (a.k.a. Tensai, a.k.a. Giant Bernard, a.k.a. A-Train, a.k.a. Albert).

For reasons unclear, they have not given her a new theme song, despite the fact that she is no longer a funk-themed character. The running theory seems to be that WWE just has that song lying around and wants SOMEONE to use it, for whatever reason.

Didn't someone else steal that theme song? Xavier Woods or somebody?

And didn't they steal it from someone else before them?

The interview was fine. They only people that would literally hate it would be those who already hate Jericho and Cena.

I mean did we expect some Barbara Walters shit where Cena cries?

If you have a favorable opinion of both watch it. There is nothing wrong with it.

You don't get it. The entire interview wasn't an expose of how Cena has buried so many great men such as Bray Wyatt, Daniel Bryan, and Damien Sandow, so obviously, Chris Jericho is a capital S shill!
