Everyone's talking about them and comparing marathon to other stuff. If they're confident(which they apparently are) present theirs and say "here, take a look at this instead of that other thing getting all the attention right now"

Signed up. Can't say im a fan of PvPvE Extraction shooters but i'll give it a shot because it's Embark. Really liked the initially trailer and theme but they moved away from that sadly. Not all that interested in Marathon but was going to sign up for the closed alpha. I got annoyed by the sign up process and ended up not signing up which just meant I really didn't want to play it badly enough right now to begin with lol. I don't think I made any post on Marathon since the trailer dropped. I'll probably will later since it's a hot topic. Maybe.

You are required to break NDA (does this have an NDA?) if you play the 2nd tech test. I thought you nailed problems with the last test.

The vibe + pace + 3rd person perspective of ARC Raiders appeals to me more, but Marathons 300 person team provides some pretty big advantages. Hoping both blow up and I get temporarily banned for making too many ARC Raiders threads here.

Same. Both seem different enough that they'll offer different experiences and - if you like this sub genre - you should be able to enjoy both

Don't call it a sub genre (joking). I think Extraction grows into a dominant genre and relatively quickly.
