This game was actually one of the first Unreal Engine commercial development projects ever announced, way back in 2020. (In fact, it's been long enough since the first announcement that Kakao Games actually put out a press statement in September saying the game was still in development.)

I wrote it off at the time as one of those "Oh yes, this new technology? Of course we're making something with that..." announcements that it would need to be shown before anybody puts any stock in their plan. To their credit however, they did now show it.
