No. I haven't been interested in the series since it moved away from its arcadey feel in GTA4. Incidentally, I didn't care for RDR either, my favorite Rockstar game is Vice City, and I'm a huge proponent of the first Crackdown on the 360 for filling that gap that GTA4 left behind (and going pedal to the meta; man, that game's a blast).

Gameplay might be changed after dan houser left. So yes looking forward to it. Besides even with old gameplay going through campaign and driving around can be fun

Excited to see some impressive visuals.

And maybe some enjoyable time playing it. GTA5 was good but couldn't finish RDR2.

Outside of that, I wouldn't care if it was delayed or released tomorrow.

Not announced for PC + we haven't seen gameplay yet (I expect the gunplay to be as mid as it was in GTA 5) => Indifferent.

I'd say indifferent right now. They need to show that they've improved the mission design(s) and that the controls aren't a 'walk through mud simulator' again to actually get me excited.

Zero interest in playing it, think I'm just over massive open world games in general.

I am interested in how technically impressive (or not) it will be so will watch some vids here and there on it for sure.

Couldn't give less shits about it.

Plus its going to be a watershed moment of charging £100 for a basic version of something - with every other publisher waiting in the wings to see if they can then get away with it too.

Not with these protagonists, no.

I'm still excited for the new open world city only Rockstar can make.

But these protags are going to make the game feel too serious and most likely cringe as well.

I really enjoyed playing gta 1(my favourite), 2, and 4, but I can't say I loved the others(I had good time with most of them, but still). If it has a good story, it might catch my interest. I'm more curious about the potential innovations it could bring to the gaming industry.

I highly doubt GTA 6 is going to cost €100 / £100

£100 for the basic version would be too aggressive, even for Rockstar. They'd risk massive backlash, bad press, and possibly hurting long-term sales

Plus I doubt there is going to be an early acces version. Their games drop like cultural events: one global release date, everyone dives in together, and the world collectively loses its mind.

They let the product speak for itself and GTA 6 is probably the most hyped game ever. They don't need early access gimmicks to drive sales

If they gated GTA 6 behind early access or slapped a £100 price tag on the standard edition, it would go from a global event to a fragmented, frustrating mess.

Yes. I love the exploration and the attention to details in GTA games. I also never had issues with the gameplay or the story in GTA games. The only thing that killed it once for me, was the driving physical in GTA IV. It was so terrible, that I never finished the game.

I'll also purchase a used PS5 just for that game.

Zero interest. Last GTA I liked was Vice City, San Andreas put me off with its hip-hop culture bullshit (waaah, racist!!!), tried GTA4 and dumped it after a few days. Never played 5 and couldn't give a toss about this one

Yup, but not super excited because it's still a long wait. Because let's be real here, it can easily slip further than May, easily.

But I look forward to just exploring that game world, taking it all in, paying attention to the smallest details and how super realistic pedestrians will behave and act towards you. I love this in RDR2. I put crazy hours into that game and I still discovered new stuff or same new happenings with civilians.

I might be in the minority with this but I would love for R* to bring back a bit more of the arcade-style gameplay possibilities of the older GTA games, especially GTA 2. I feel that outside of Trevor's rampage missions, GTA 5 really punishes the players hard for just blowing everything up and causing general mayhem (the gunplay doesn't support it, the police is far too aggressive after a certain point, your arsenal doesn't support this and the general possiblities the game gives you are too limited). And I would love for them to bring back cool weapons like the electro gun or the flamethrower. No, I don't want R* to make GTA into Just Cause, but I think it should remain a video game.

Not particularly. But that has more to do with the current gong show that our current culture is. GTA is always putting current trends and where our culture is at centre stage. Not sure I care to see the clown show this world is in digital form.

I'm more curious than excited, didn't really love GTA 4 or 5.

Doubt i'll get it day 1 but who knows once it releases and everybody is talking about it, i might fall, but right now there's many games i'm more excited about.

Not really. I haven't seen anything interesting about it.
The graphics seem advanced, but that is the only thing remotely worth while.
So I'll probably watch some videos analyzing the game and benchmarks.

Never really finished any GTA game until end of last year, even though i literally started with the top down ones back then (yes i'm that old).
Played the GTA V campaign (before the RT update :messenger_grinning_sweat:) and it was mid at best, especially the abrupt ending.
The world building is pretty detailed ofc, but i don't really care for a modern city, i enjoy stuff like Novigrad and Night City much more.

I'm just interested in GTA 6 from a technical viewpoint, that's it.

You need to provide more information about which game you're talking about, OP.
I'm sick of these threads that provide no info about the gane being discussed. Expecting people to search themselves.
Waste of time.

I forget this game even exists until a thread like this pops up. My brain won't even acknowledge it until we're about a month before launch then the hype begins.

It's gonna be good fun. The only thing I dislike is the setting.

A GTA game for us who grew up in the 1990s would have been amazing.

Not really excited, and indifferent, i'm a PC gamer so it will come out quite a while after the consoles and it will be spoiled lol, and i don't play online just SP, so GTA 6 will be just like GTA, V short SP campaign with most of the focus on online again after all the money it made, i'll still play the game at some point and enjoy it , but i'm option 3 and 4.

Nah not really. The last GTA that I played extensively was Vice City. Haven't really enjoyed any of the follow ups. They control like ass and are extremely overrated to be honest.

Not that much... I dont value GTA above a lot of games ... they are good fun games nothing more.

And in this modern age of western gaming I just dont believe they will not fuck up the story telling with woke bullshit... hope they surprise me though.

Depends if they have improved the missions or not. Some of the insta-fail stuff they have is straight out of the 90's.

If they go with the main character controlling like a tank like RDR2 then my hype will be significantly decreased also, still not finished that game.

Not excited, but I'll get it and play it.
Its a landmark release. And I've played every one of their games.

I'm just hoping they still have the same humor and edgy-ness that made them popular. But GTA5 was made so long ago, who knows.

no doubt the gameplay is fucking terrible and from people who previously worked at rockstar have said, it's basically going to be "the best possible version of GTAV".

That doesn't excite me. Even if RDR2 was 30 hours long instead of 60, the gameplay modeled from 2008 still didn't serve the player positively AT ALL. Christ, it feels better to run around in PUBG.

U guys still dont realise how big of a phenomenon gta6 gonna be, just to give u some idea, those are 2 polish sports journalists, they comment on mostly football/soccer in a funny/comedian way, and even those guys mention gta series often, hell as u guys can see laptop has gta vice city sticker:

What im trying to say here, even normies around the world are totally mesmerised and gonna storm the stores/buy the game at launch.
Look at the views of first gta6 trailer:

263m with crazy like/dislike ratio, 12,3m likes vs 250k dislikes

Now 2nd trailer thats still relatively new:

125m views already, 6,1m likes and only 86k dislikes

This thing gonna sell like crazy, easily 50m copies at launch/launch window aka full price, no matter the price :P
Last proof of might, we all know official sales data of gta5, 210m+ copies already, and lets see that gta5 trailer, most viewed one too, aka reveal gta5 trailer:

123m views, 2,7m likes, 52k dislikes, so crazy numbers but still below gta6 2nd trailer thats only few months old, and remember that game sold 210m copies ltd :P

Buying gta6 is as natural as dunno vote in a election, its basically civil duty by now :messenger_beaming:

I don't get excited for much until I see actual gameplay, which they've provided none.

I've also tried every GTA under the sun, I end up messing around for a few hours, and then I just get bored because the core mechanics are just ok...and the single-player mission design is usually archaic-ly on rails. I'm kinda done trying, unless I get to try a friend's copy.

Not really, I'll play it at some point of course but its not a day one or anything. It's been way too long for me, a whole gen and almost 6 years into the next, till I can play a follow up to GTAV - that I played on PS3.
