I really want to see something push the console - like a proper Zelda that is like Dark souls and/or a proper HD Monster Hunter.

My issue with that would just be calling this Dark Souls style Zelda "proper". This would come off more like a re-imagination to me, rather than staying true to the series's direction.
Since this has turned into a dark souls zelda thread I figured I'd talk about graphics again. Having all three next gen systems I'd argue that I haven't noticed that the wii u was noticeably weaker... Yet. Nintendo has helped bridge the power gap with masterful art direction. There are no arguments of flickering shadows or aliasing in SM3DW. Nothing is face melting like Killzone or KI but impressive nonetheless.

I am 100% satisfied with what can be accomplished on this console when the developer puts some effort behind it. It seems the only hold back is weak ports from developers that don't have a (justified) dedicated Nintendo team.

I was satisfied with PS2 graphics already (that's where I draw the line, PS1 era 3D is terrible, 2D is still fine), so WiiU is more than excellent.

It doesn't take too much talent or money to up the frame rate, resolution and AA.I'm of the opinion that once you're at ps3/360 level hardware, graphics aren't held back much by processing power. It mostly comes down to talent plus money.
Yes, I'm totally satisfied with Wii U graphics. I don't see how 3D World would look any better on ps4 class hardware, outside of being 1080p.

Hardware capability is the much more important factor here.I guess that's why all games are 1080p and 60fps as standard then? It takes talent and money to hire decent software engineers who can tweak and get the most out of game engines.
