Did this just ended? Oh Shit!!! I've got nothing at all. I was doing research on this Batman guy and totally forgot that a deadline was so close. So far I have watched Batman Forever, Batman & Robin and Catwoman. I still have queued Adam West's Batman, Suicide Squad and Batman vs Superman.
I need to write something quick... Mmmmm..... Eeehhhhh....
I KNOW!!!!!!
Ventriloquist suddenly fell into a river and he was killed by piranhas. Giant piranhas. GIANT BRAZILIAN PIRANHAS. That's really good. I'm REALLY good at this.
You are The Ventriloquist and you are part of the Arkham Inmates (that means you are town).
You are a villain mastermind who uses his ventriloquist ability to accomplish his crimes. Also he may be one of the most lazy attempts to create a comic book villain ever.
You are a Switcher. Every night you may use the command Switch: <PlayernameA> <PlayernameB>. All actions targeting Player A will be instead be directed to Player B and all Actions targeting Player B will instead be used in Player A.
You also have the power to vote. Use Vote: <Playername> during the day phase. The usual drill.
The game thread is Here
You win when all threats to the town are eliminated.
Who you gonna hang? Me or the puppet
So back to work. Let's see how will this new number will begin....
Mmmm.....
Okay, you didn't kill the bat. Even worse, two of you have died.
That's a sarcastic clap by the way.
Maybe I had too high hopes for all of you. You have a simple task: to kill the bat. How hard can it be? Are you doing it on purpose? Do you like to make me suffer? It shouldn't be that hard.
I'm really angry. I'm soo pissed that I don't even want to write how Scarecrown and Calendar Man died. I will start the new comic with a small bubble only saying "Scarecrow and Calendar Man died" in comic sans.
I'm THAT pissed.
You are Scarecrow and you are part of the Arkham Inmates (that means you are town).
You are a former psychoanalyst who uses drugs to induce fear and hallucinations on your target. You are the master of bad trips.
You are a Double Lyncher. After death, either by a lynch or night kill, you will force a double lynch the next day phase.
You also have the power to vote. Use Vote: <Playername> during the day phase. The usual drill.

You are a criminal who has an obsession with dates. Yes, it sounds stupid.
You are an Even-Night Commuter. Every even night phase you will become untargetable. You won't be affected by any actions that nights.
You also have the power to vote. Use Vote: <Playername> during the day phase. The usual drill.

Double Lynch
What happens in a with ties -or- if we all vote No Lynch -or- if only one player has votes?

Since there's no majority set, I'm guessing the two people with the most votes gets axed? And if there's a tie for second, whoever got to that vote count first.
I'd guess the same for a three/four way split for first or whatever, maybe fran could give us a bit of clarity.
If there is a tie in the first place both are lynched. If there is a tie in the second place is a no lynch as usual.

Okay two deaths and now we have to double lynch. It's really imperative we find scum today or we'll be in a pretty bad position at this rate. Also, I was targeted by someone last night and am now cursed.
Long Live RetroMG, Magnanimous ruler of Gafia
So then the smart play here is to only lynch one person, whether that means making "No lynch" first or second in vote count shouldn't make a difference, right? Is there a positive to two lynches that I'm not thinking of, I can't think of any? (Unless we have two confirmed scum somehow).
And a 3 way for first place? No lynch?
Aside from the logistics behind setting that up being difficult, lynching is how we gain information and taking advantage of a dual lynch is usually a good thing. Also, call back to night vale where we lynched two scum with our double lynch and didn't have a confirmed check on either.
Would it really be that hard when we have a running vote count that's usually up to date. Why not just put No Lynch in the lead with like 5/6 votes, then continue our second lynch as normal.
I suppose the problem I see with the idea is that we could have people hide behind an easy vote?
A double lynch so early? Perfect.
A few things I noticed around day end. The first is more obvious and kind of meta I guess, Terra (Flame) clearly isn't scum. At first I thought he tied that vote at the very end but knowing that Lifeline was town means that made no sense at all for a scum player to do so unless he was so disillusioned that he didn't mind spitting in the face of teammates that he knew about and then still going through with being replaced. So cool to kind of have a clear even if the method was sketchy.
Second thing that bugged me is that there were a few people who wanted to take the moral high ground and vote off wagon, more so than normal it felt like which is why it felt screwy trying to keep up with where the vote was since the number of people on wagon was low. Does it mean much? I'm not sure honestly since two of the off wagon voters are dead and were town. And even past that, I look at Mazre and unless Terra is scum, his vote makes no sense from a scum perspective so while it bugged me, it still comes out seeming town-ish to me.
Also, while I was writing this, I went back to go see recent posts:
No one actually likes Retro so I assume this is a mechanic
I chose neither Lifeline nor Terrabyte.
My best read on scum right now is Dr. Worm. I think there's at most 2 scum among the list of Lifeline and Terra voters as well.
VOTE: Dr. Worm
Not a big fan of these last minute no impact votes. It was clearly a back and forth pull at day end and you two chose to take yourselves out of the equation and let others control the results which very well could have been a tie in the end had votes not shifted enough in the last moment.Vote: Faddy
A lot of his early posts are pure shade throwing. There's the "feud"(?) with Natiko, but not much else. I realize "not much else" is a serious pot/kettle situation. I thought about waiting until next day phase to bring this up, but I'm not big on either current leader so
I went back and forth on what to think of your posts at the day end. You voted Terra right after I did, but you were a bit less vocal about it. You shortly after indicated that you may even be leaning towards a lifeline vote. Yet, when the time game you felt more at ease just sitting on your vote. Scum not caring about the results perhaps.ANOTHER TIE
That and you've now distilled the voting pool. Those 5 or 6 people are now tied up in a vote and if scum can avoid being a part of those 5 or 6, they now have a much bigger voice for one day. That and I don't know if you followed the roller coaster at last day end but we had a running vote count and I still thought the day had tied and ended in a no lynch at the very end.
I think we can be pretty sure that is the case that Flame is not scum. I don't think scum Terra would suicide or be as mad with the game if he were scum.
/QUOTE]
You and Sorian both think that. That's a pretty cool thing to join a game as. (Thanks Terra!)
However, I don't want y'all to just think I'm a sure thing because of one day, let the rest of these days count for it too.
I was against a no-lynch d1, and I'm against using one of our double votes on a no-lynch now. We win be eliminating all threats to town, lynching is our best and possibly only method of doing so.
(It should go without saying that if you know otherwise, don't say anything.)
While we're at it, two kills and I'm not exactly sure what to make of it. Initial gut is Splinter was the scum kill and Kalor was either a vig kill or a SK trying to look like a vig. Though Splinter was less active than normal, he didn't really garner any real heat from what I remember.
I read it as something else actually, just on instinct really, nothing to make me feel that way for sure. I feel like it was some sort of Role/Attack duplication or someone somehow linked the two of them together? I dunno, just a guess. Role madness, right?
My gut leans to Kalor being the scum kill. He was a contender for lynch target, so by killing him they force the conversation to start almost from the top. While we're at it, two kills and I'm not exactly sure what to make of it. or asceticInstead we can deal with the shadow of doubt at a framer or godfather.
Why would scum want that though? Just makes it more likely we'll pick them out. Gafia 3 is a great example of why it's good for scum to leave the other lynch candidates alive for another day.My gut leans to Kalor being the scum kill. Conversely, why not just let discussion center around Kalor today and take out someone else? Conversation from the start could also mean a scum target comes into view.
Also, Natiko, can you post again? I wanna see if that last line shows up again.

I was given no stipulation that I can't address it, but I don't see much to gain by talking in-depth about it either. It has to be in all my posts or I die. It's shown up 3 or 4 times already, I'm kind of numb to the jokey curse mechanic at this point so meh. I'm sure it has the usual stipulation of the cursed not being able to talk about it as well.
