Saaaaay I've been meaning to ask:
There are 3 PSP AC games on US PSN, are any of them worth getting?
Got my copy. The only copy at gamestop too.
Hmm...I'd recommend AC3 or Last Raven. I don't know how they perform on psp or vita (is it compatible?) tho
Is this game more Multiplayer oriented or is it also a good single player game ?
$50 on US PSN!
6 GB sounds good to me, will buy it soon =D
Think this will be part of the spend 50$ get 10$ deal - might be worth checking to ensure you get that discount!
Part of that's on FromSoftware. I certainly am not planing on picking this up after playing 5.I wanted to cry, this is one of my favorite series and no one plays it.

What? You can get pretty much any AC for like $10-$20.
Did they fix the frame rate? ACV turned me off with that nonsense.
i bet this'd pull surprisingly good numbers on steam.
oh well :/
Well I suppose it is improved in most areas. The stages are a bit barren compared to ACV(aside from random explosions, artillery fire, and flying helis/bombers in the distance). The best looking areas in the game are actually the DLC workshops.Did they fix the frame rate? ACV turned me off with that nonsense.

I was fine with the environments, it was just a mess with the UI going berserk every time something poked you, and that with the framerate tanking whenever people hit you made it difficult to do anything when under fire. It was fine when nothing was happening though. :/
You've must have had ps3 version. 360 didn't really have this issue.
Well that just sucks monkey dong. You'd think From would know how to make it for what is essentially their home system.
Picked it up today, only copy my GS had. I found out about it on Sunday and found out that you'd be able to import save data from V. So I did a couple of missions thinking I'd be able to use that cash later...only to find out that you can bring parts over...NO CASH. Going back to 5 to buy crap to bring over with me. Incidentally, did this game come with a manual? I didn't get one.
Ah, I thought we were just speaking generally. Sure, factory sealed is pretty rare, but I see used copies all over and I can usually find damn near perfect copies of most games online.A brand new copy of For Answer runs you 117 dollars average on ebay last I checked. Second hand copies hover around 30. As much as I want a disc version of this, I think imma just pick it up on PSN with all this PSN credit I have.
Framerate seems a bit better on PS3, I haven't had any significant slowdown yet. I'm comparing it to V on 360 though, and it's been a while since I played that. There is this weird thing that I don't remember from V, correct me if I'm wrong, but they blur the edges of the screen and it's hella throwing me off.True. It seems like this gen it was built off x360 first then ported to ps3 along with the typical port issues. Hopefully someone who has Verdict Day on ps3 will chime in if they improved fps over V.
Thank's for the info. I think I bought all the parts I cared for in V then traded the game in. Does the parts you bring over retain the name and upgraded status? No manual but there should be a in game tutorial like the first.
No, I wish.does this not have a sexy mecha porn cg intro like the other games?

The parts you import don't keep their upgrades according to the game.

THAT is lame to no end, and you can't upgrade them either..may as well start from scratch for the most part -__-
I really liked having sniper duels, dancing alongside buildings. I also was amused creating my own counter to the then-overpowered stuff. Completely destroyed people with it lol. I kind of want to get it, but probably too soon to play it again. I hope they can fix the online stuff and campaign this time.
I also never see anyone talk about the game's music. I really like it. Especially that garage theme. Wonderful.
I am noticing the music a lot more since a poster in this thread mentioned it, most of it is from their in house band, "Frequency"
is that one song they did for the story trailer "day after day" anywhere in the game itself? it's pretty damn good.
which one is that? nothing i've heard so far could be considered offensive.Evergreen is the type of track that would keep me from buying a soundtrack..
Me too. The changes they made helped a lot, but I feel like V lowered the bar for me. It's still better than V, but if I was running into this right after 4A I'd still probably be pretty put off.So far, I'm liking it a lot more than I liked V initially.
Get acquainted with movement, you'll be at a disadvantage until you master how to move comfortably through a stage..scanning and recon is your friend, they will make enemies visible through obstacles..and weapon types, carry a variety, enemies have lite elemntal weaknesses, the rest will come back to you with time!Grabbed this on the way home, looking forward to getting back into Armored Core. Any tips for someone who hasn't play one for more than 10 minutes in close to a decade?
