I feel like this would've gone better if you let Ragman fight Church
Thea
Don't let her down Quentin.
I like how the flashbacks weren't as thematically relevant this episode so they just made them brutal as hell.
Four for four, yeah?
Ragman taking the W.
"Was he waiting for an entrance line?"
wait... who is that?
Are they really going to make them a thing?

It seems more like a father daughter thing, they've both got fucked up families so it kind of fits.

When Tobias Church (guest star Chad L. Coleman) captures and tortures one of Olivers new recruits, Oliver must turn to an old friend, Christopher Chance (guest star Wil Traval) AKA the Human Target, for help. Meanwhile, Felicitys (Emily Bett Rickards) worlds collide when Detective Malone (guest star Tyler Ritter) joins the ACU. Laura Belsey directed the episode written by Oscar Balderrama & Sarah Tarkoff (#505). Original airdate 11/2/2016.
Hope so. Feels like that's exactly what it should be, but their scenes feel like it's trying to portray something differently entirely at times.
#5.05 Human Target Promo
They're trying to be subtle with the dynamic, but when The CW tries platonic it has a way of just seeming sexual anyway. See: Oliver and Thea. Malcolm and Thea. Oliver and Moira. Oliver and Tommy.
Nyssa and Laurel
Wait.. Uh, that promo...
That's KGBeast
Edit: Maybe I'm wrong, but those markings...

Oh yeah that one wasn't helped by Nyssa being a lesbian either, and Katie Cassidy having more chemistry with Katrina Law than anybody else.
Possibly. I hope it's not actually the one we know, or a coincidence.
Speaking of which... I hope they find time to have Nyssa guest star sometime.

Hey... I'm still waiting for it.
I kinda miss Malcolm swagging in and going "I'M RA'S AL GHUL!!!!"
Tommy and Thea.
Mm...Just rewatch season 1. Slowly.
He's way more interesting than Brick.Despite Church having no powers he is a pettty good villain.

then I realize the series atm is better off focusing on Star City and Oliver's Boys and Girls club and regret those thoughts.

This is the season Ollie gets publicly unmasked, isn't it?
Would be a nice dynamic change. Surprised one of the shows hasn't bitten that bullet yet. It does dramatically changes things though.
I mean, out of all these DCCW shows, I think the only two characters to ever operate under a public identity were Green Arrow and Wally west.
Arrow probably has the most to gain from the move. Lots of new stories from that, it'll be an end of season event to shake things up.
Church does have powers. Notice when he starts fighting he becomes leaner and a smidge taller.
