Earth 2 Felecity who never got through her goth phase is going to show up bring the Ferocity, she'll also be reoccurring.
EDIT: Dammit should've refreshed.

Felicity's evil, gothic twin.
Who's the planned villain for next year?

EBR going all Tatiana Maslany would be worth it for the meltdowns.
Make it happen Arrow producers.
Do The CW's Superhero Shows Have a Big, Bad Villain Problem?
Little think piece from TVLine. They're right though, they really need to up the big bad quality to match an ex-CBS show like Supergirl.
I think Darhk was probably the best overall, he had presence and wasn't let down by acting, mostly just the events going on around him.

Vandal Savage made me stop watching Legends of Tomorrow. He just wasn't compelling or interesting. His whole deal with the Hawk Folk didn't help.
You know they figure that out in the last two episodes and unceremoniously jettison both him and the Hawks, right?
That's hilarious. I completely tuned out the show. I figured they were rebooting it next season, so I didn't feel the need to keep up. Did they rush a villain to take his place?
They are castingWho's the planned villain for next year?
Because Dahrk banishing Laurel from the city just doesn't feel as interesting.1. Why not write her off instead of giving her a death that fell flatter than a 2 week old soda.
Donna doesn't fight, and she is easy to write out of scenes when necessary.2. how is Laurel bloat and Felicity Mama drama and most of her stupid scenes not bloat?

I'm loving Darhk (Currently at episode 9) but better than Reverse Flash?
Edit: I guess you mean this season right?
Nah, they dispatched Savage and the showrunners couldn't figure out anything to do with the Hawks next season, so they're gone. Casting calls for two new regulars next year, reportedly male and female.
And the fans rejoiced it for being the best finale of the year based on that scene.
It is entirely possible to dislike a female character, I'll give you that. I disliked Laurel a great deal. The issue comes when that hatred becomes something dark and ugly. There's definitely nothing "fictional" about the sexism that's a part of the anti-Felicity movement. Unless, of course, you consider rape fantasies perfectly acceptable. Then I don't know what to tell you.
WTF at the bolded part.
The Felicity criticism gets into incredibly nitpicky, it's gotten to the point where if she's in any scene she becomes a target. Nobody really thinks the Oliver's son plot line was very good (do Olicity fans even?), but things like Felicity being blamed for the nukes or just having screen time certainly has an irrational if not sexist bent to it.
Her final scene of the season was just standing her next to Oliver, supporting him. Not whining, not about romance, just her being there for her friend. People hated it.Shitty acting, with shitty dialogue, centered around her relationship with Oliver, and constantly whines. There's nothing sexist about disliking this character.
Go back to the beginning of the topic. The Olicity haters got exactly what they wanted: a break-up.You can make a compelling relationship but if the entire thing is about drama then people will hate it. How about the show runners have Olicity be a functional relationship? Yeah, that's a new one for them.

They weren't.And we're too forget about those wink wink nudge nudge moment throughout the episodes that were clearly to hint that their relationship?
Last time that happened, they left. When they start writing the characters are functioning people who don't need to talk about their relationship then people will start to come back.
They weren't.

I'm surprised their are Olicity defenders. Like, this is one the most brain-dead, awful, terribly written, annoying relationships written on TV that hammered you with it for a long time.
It wasn't.Yeah, the whole nuke talk when they were standing by Felicity's station isn't a nod to that.
They did, people were still complaining.I'm surprised their are Olicity defenders. Like, this is one the most brain-dead, awful, terribly written, annoying relationships written on TV that hammered you with it for a long time. I ask again: why drag every one through this shit when they could write them as not being so fucking dramatic?
And those people are ruining the show. If you hate a show, just drop it. People hating that relationship, attacking one element of the relationship even when it has nothing to do with that relationship makes them seem like a sexist, because they are.Defend all you want no one will care, it was shit and people are saying it was shit.

.It's not sexist to hate a really awful portrayal of a relationship.

The viewers who think that the Olicity relationship is, by and large, terribly written soap opera melodrama pandering bullshit that dominates the entire show are the ones ruining Arrow? Could've fooled me, I would have thought that'd be the writers' fault. And those people are ruining the show. If you hate a show, just drop it. Yes, the bitching on it is more annoying than anything in the show. The viewers who think that the Olicity relationship is, by and large, terribly written soap opera melodrama pandering bullshit that dominates the entire show are the ones ruining Arrow? If it annoys you so much, why not just put people on ignore?

Well they shouldn't have to stop posting because you can't handle people shitting on the show.Shouldn't have to. When I read posts and I get the feeling people are near mental breakdown level, it gets real old real fast.
Like bus said, some people enjoy hateverbing. Others might still like other aspects of the show. They'll probably learn to quit the show when you learn to ignore them. So since neither of that is going to happen, guess you're to have to deal with people bitching just like they're dealing with your bitching about bitching.Because I might want to read their posts in other topics. Because people still quote ignored people. Because ignoring people actually doesn't make the new posts icon go away. Because I think that maybe, they should just learn to quit stuff if they don't like it. I have dropped shows on mass this season, even I'm in a third season or later. I dropped Criminal Minds in season 11 because I wasn't up to watching it week by week anymore. It is not that hard if you truly dislike a show.
Well they shouldn't have to stop posting because you can't handle people shitting on the show.

Arrow S5 |OT| No, you can't call the thread Daredevil S3
But we're not talking about pornographyI can't really think of a good reason to be shitting on the show. Being critical is one thing, saying "this is garbage" is a wasted post and I have no interest in that kind of posting. In civil conversation if you don't like something else, and you're with a group of people enthusiastic about it, you keep your mouth shut and don't engage. I'd prefer that GAF can be the one place people can maintain that same level of civility online, otherwise we have Reddit, Twitter, Facebook etc.
If someone truly can't keep themselves from letting the hate flow, I do hit them with an ignore. Only a few Arrow posters atm.

Personally I enjoy all of the complaining about the show and find this whole thing thats happening very entertaining so I don't know. I kind of prefer it over the usual thing that happens in OTs where it's only a place for people who like the game or show and pushes out anyone elseThere's no enjoyment though. At all. Just people whining about the same shit every week. And yes, it shits up the thread.
sure, just as long as you understand that you're contributing to the shitposting you so loathe by engaging with it instead of doing the simple thing that you're coming up with excuses not to doSo we'll feel free to ridicule them for watching a show they don't like and for shitposting.
