Glad to know there are other guys out there who don't like strip clubs. Just not for me.
Yeah, that's basically all I do whenever I'm going to a strip club.
Never tell strippers that. They hate it. They espeially hate the people who sit along the front but never pay.
At the very least get like $50 in $10's and give something.
I like strip clubs. Good way to unwind after work. Never really pay for the private dances. Get a round of beers going with some buddies and just shoot the shit.
Strippers are never into customers so it doesn't matter

Not a fan of strip clubs either. Although, the times I've went have been fun..it's been literally more than a decade since the last time I went.
One of my "friends" used to drag the bunch of us to strip clubs all the time and I absolutely hated it. It got to the point where I just wouldn't hang out with them because this one dude kept wanting to go.
I don't have anything against that line of work, but the clientele tends to be really skeevy. Personally, I find it to be a terrible environment to be in.

I'm not dealing well with Trump presidency because I feel Asian ( even American Asians ) are just going to be prejudiced harder with his rhetorics. I said Asians because I doubt the average American can differentiate Chinese among east and perhaps fairer skin Asians, not that I think what he said was right though.

For me basically he has allowed public racism to rise again. Just gave racist folks the free reigns to say whatever they want to without much consequences. Also allowed White folks to actually feel threatened now.
That thread about White Fragility was a good read though. I enjoyed it.

Never been to a strip club while I was still living in America, never saw the point. Like... it would be cheaper and probably better quality, to just watch porn with beer/drinks made by yourself lol.
Though, the ones here in Japan are fairly... interesting haha. They are pretty boring and filled with old dudes like mid 40s to maybe like 70+. Though I assume that's just because most strip clubs came into being popular during "their time." They are more boring burlesque shows and seems like a lot of the dudes that go are 'fans' and buy gifts and shit for the ladies. Kinda like hostess clubs (that's a whole nother story lol...) Heard conjecture and rumor that 'more' goes on sometimes at the strip shows, but they got my 5,000yen, once was enough lol.
Oh and they broadcast most of the show live on a small monitor outside the club haha. So its like, why go in.

I was super close to a pole dancer in Tokyo for my ex's birthday (she wanted to go clubbing back when there was a dancing ban). I guess I spoiled the mood but I really couldn't stand it.
Perhaps a strip club is less... on the nose... but some random "dance" (with a dancing ban) nightclub hiring a girl to get eyed by what was mostly Americans felt really putrid.

It's crazy to think back when we were in HS, we would stay out until like 4-5 am and now 7 pm for them is wild. Also gotta plan things out weeks to months in advance..makes me think twice about having kids

I remember a few months ago for my British friends birthday he wanted to go to the club but saw that the advertised dj had a gogo dancer group performance too lol. He thought they were strippers and got really shy about going. such a pure boy.
Did a google search. I guess so.

I don't know. I was a 90s baby so my fashion was baggy clothing that lasted for quite a while. Ah shit, this just reminded me of Fubu and Lugz..... Now it just reminded me of Timbs. Deadass reminded me that I had a pair of timberlands in high school b.

My wife and I just came back from a trip to the Philippines for a friend's wedding. We also stopped in Taiwan and I managed to snag some food pics, which I hear you all enjoy!
Some kind of warm of dessert thing covered in peanut powder!
Clams in a spicy soy marinade. Usually this dish features smaller clams, but these were pretty good as well.
Rice rolls with pickled veggies, pork, and chinese donut.
I can't remember what these were. Some sort of bun or perhaps dumping?
Night Market gearing up for the Lunar New Year.
Loads of people at the night market.
Table of food. I think the burrito things are bean curd?
Market stuff.
More market stuff.
Bacon?
There are just tables with heaps of food everywhere.
Grilled squid!
My favorite dish was actually duck blood in some sort of spicy broth. It was amazing but I forgot to take a picture.
I haven't been back since I was 6 but 2 days in Taiwan has cemented its place as my favorite Asian destination. Sorry HK, Manila, Macua, Tokyo, and Bali.
