Yeah , the Rev3 video and the French one posted a few posts later both show the same footage provided by Ubi.

Was it confirmed that the footage they provided was console footage ?

Money. Graphic aside, their policies continue to become worst with the time passed. Tons of meaningless dlc, season pass at launch, double annual released for a single brand. It's my worst company in my personal hit parade of the bad companies. A pity because I think tons of their games are full of good ideas. But there are too much obsessed to the big revenues at all costs. Sorry for the ot.

Its probably PC with Xbox controller.

They really need to state what platform preview footage is on.

Ubisoft are only somewhat to blame. They're supplying the market which exists, it's safe that way. Blacklist was a fantastic game, far far better than any AssCreed, and they spent a long time, and a ton of money to make it, and no one gave a shit.

As long as they can ship two AssCreeds a year, and sell ten million between them, they're basically economically forced to do so.

I'm not sure the video really looks any better than these screens. Its very hard to tell with compressed Youtube footage, where its also in motion and you cant really stop and look at the detail.

Meh, look fine enough if you ask me. And from some of the earlier leaked footage it looks pretty good in motion.

But people love to go through tons of screenshots on focus on the ones were the games does indeed look really bad

And you know what? They're next game reveal, people will lose their shit over how amazing it looks. Then 9 months later they'll be a thread exactly like this one.

Bullshit. Take Two could force R* to do the same, but they CHOOSE not to. Ubisoft isn't forced. That said, I also blame the audience that buys all this shit up day one.

I really hope they release Blacklist on ps4. I was interested to it but I can't tolerate the ps360 performance.

I know it's my favorite series bias talking....but I still haven't seen a thing that won't make me be there ASAP. Still can't wait to play this.

The moment 1st Party studios cant produce better than what your seeing, right away, nevermind 2-3 years in.

Don't think many 3rd party studio's will push either console that hard 1 year in.

There are better looking games out there, it's Ubisoft just being Ubisoft (
incompetent
), they somehow managed to craft something that looks mediocre and runs like shit, quite a "leap" from their last gen efforts...

Some of the screenshots look good, some look really bad.

I doubt the game will look as bad as the screenshots posted in the OP. After the patch, I expect the game to look like the X1 demos shown the last month.

I wont pass a judgement based on some leaked screenshots when they have already confirmed a day 1 patch.

After what was an amazing looking game in Black Flag, I am pretty shocked at the low quality poly characters and other issues in some of those screenshots.

There were rumours that they were struggling with the game, but unlike Watch_Dogs I guess they didn't feel that delaying it was a good idea (and after that debacle probably didn't think they could).

Lets hope there is a day 1 patch that fixes that, but i am not convinced. Cannot wait for the DF comparisons. Fortunately for me, I have cancelled my pre-order (due to lack of cash) and so will be able to see what people say before getting it in December.

One thing is for certain, UBI really need to stop presenting the games on high end PC's and showing us what the games will not look like. The Division is the next game to get the same downgrade treatment.
