So I made some adjustments to my theme above, changed to one of the wallpapers from the OP and changed some other stuff, this is what I ended up with and am satisfied with:

Just reformatted my laptop - am still looking to do something visually interesting with Windows, but I haven't had any cool ideas yet.

A note about it, it's basically the original windows theme, but with none of the glass highlights. Makes things look a fair bit cleaner IMO.

Yeah, I am using virtual desktops. It's Dexpot with the Taskbar Pager plugin enabled. It's awesome.
