Naked Gun Trailer - August 1st.

I thought this was a lot of fun, they nailed the dumb humor of the originals.

"UCLA?"

"I see it everyday, I live here."

Yeah some bits really worked in the spirit of the originals. The dialogue. The constant cups of coffee. The 'grabber'. Even the bank robbery, was in the spirit of the original. Although I am sure Frank drebin snr would have foiled the back robbery by accident 😁

It was pretty good, if not as funny as the originals or the likes of hotshots. I felt this had more in common with the later Leslie Neilson spoofs, if much better than those rather sad movies (I do laugh at the train stalking him, in wrongfully accused 👍😂)

It almost landed. If anything it could do with more of the sight gags and background funnies to keep you going. While the stars play it straight in the foreground 🤞
 
Some people really liked the constant word jokes. It was fine, but I wanted a lot more visual gags. I really liked the claw machine one. Hot Shots was more my jam.
