A top 5 list is pretty hard, because there's the wrestlers I liked to watch wrestle, and there's people that entertained me.

Jericho and Angle are cross-overs into that, easily.

But Stone Cold and The Rock are two guys I was entertained by but didn't really enjoy their wrestling.

You must not have seen much of Stone Cold before his neck injury. He could work. Very versatile guy in the ring. And both pre and post injury, he always did a great job at telling a story in the ring, and making the moves look effective. He always looked like he was trying to legit kill a guy when he stomped a mudhole.

Rock was also great at telling a story and selling for his opponents. He was a lot like hogan, completely engaged the crowd, had good in ring psychology, sold beatdowns really well when he received them. The big difference is hogan had his hulking up.

Impact was great again this week. AJ vs Kurt was a great tv match. I'm really looking forward to the PPV this weekend, can't wait.

Buff was a perfectly fine wrestler before his neck injury, but after that he became pretty bad. But go more over the worse he got, somehow. He was terrible (along with pretty much everyone else) the last two years of WCW.

His softcore porn work remained top notch throughout.

Yeah, IIRC Rick Steiner's the one who injured him, but then some time later Buff comes out in a wheelchair and is interviewed by Mean Gene. Rick's there too and he apologized to Buff and Buff forgave him. Everyone cheers and claps.

Then Scott Steiner comes out and started beating up Rick. Buff then gets up from his wheelchair and is about to hit Scott but he ends up beating up rick instead. He then rips his shirt to reveal an NWO shirt. Buff gets major heat.

Does tout have any chance of success?

If WWE keeps forcing it - then probably.

Alexa says that ever since WWE starting shilling it - in July. Loads of people have been visiting the site after searching for it. Basically, people are hearing about Tout on WWE TV, then searching on Google, then visiting the site.

Alexa is not 100% reliable with numbers, but that graph shows quite an upswing.

Wait, wtf? Plywood got banned? Damn...

Had roughly ten posts straight, all nerd rage .gifs, and all replying to the same post in the HaloGAF thread. Wasn't expecting him to get banned, and I personally didn't think it was spamming (his .gifs were hilarious), but I guess .gif spamming is against the rules. Word is he's back on the 15th.

just read his wiki. i remember now. i was watching live during the bulldog and him laying face down in the ring.
his career seemed good overall. Victorys over Lex Luger, Curt Hennig, and Golberg. he was above average on the mich as well. but i cant recall his wrestling all that great. maybe i just didnt examine matwork as much as i do now.

I remember at some point the entire nWo came out including Hogan and Hogan berated him for being a bitch.

Buff Bagwell was an awesome character, even while injured. Wrestling, well...something else.

At the conclusion of the final night of their eight night run in Mexico City, Metallica took this picture:

I know the band are in Rey Mysterio masks, but who's mask is James Hetfield wearing?

I feel like Buff never recovered from Russo's reign, although it started in the months before that. The feud with Piper and complaining on screen about being held back to Flair and Bischoff.

Then the Powers That Be come in and all the shooty non-sense happens with him claiming to be the Chosen One but he got SWERVED by the man. And it just got worse from there.

Top 5 favorite wrestlers of ALL TIME???

Uh I don't have 5 so someone else go first.

Totally bumping this.

1. Chris Benoit
2. Jushin Thunder Liger
3. Chris Jericho
4. Randy Savage
5. Stone Cold Steve Austin

Not in any particular order, but yeah, there we go. Kurt Angle should be on there and if Bryan keeps it up for another year he'll be on there, maybe replacing Benoit as it still hurts to put him on a "best of" list, but for the first 15 years I watched this stuff, he was the be all end all of my watching experience so he deserves to be on it. Rey Mysterio would've been on it if he retired 5-10 years ago. Eddie should also be on it, but he had to many lows throughout his carreer. If he had a few more years at the end at the top, he'd definitely be on my list.

I understand that, but this Aries is watered down a bit even though he's champ. He was obviously better as that cocky asshole running the X Division.

I had the same problem with Punk when they turned him face. It was much worse in his case though since he kinda looked like a hypocrite after all that shit he talked about Cena and his poster boy privileges. Punk was getting close to becoming the same thing.

I have disliked Punk's face promos as much as most people on here but, to be fair, the 'shoots' were all about being the face of the company and being on collector cups and in movies etc. He wasn't really a hypocrite, just lame on the mic.

Why do all these women love to do the stinkface so much? It's one of the worst moves in professional wrestling. The only reason I can think of is they believe men find it hot, but really, we don't.

It's kinda like how all the porn seems to focus on anal sex nowadays, the market for that is way overrated.

Or is there some other reason to use the stinkface. I guess for people not named Kelly Kelly it's hard to botch?

1) Shawn Micheals
2) Rick Rude
3) Steve Austin
4) Jake Roberts
5) Rock

All these guys were great in and out of the ring(Austin's style change after Owen's tombstone limited what he coud do was just as compelling if not as easy on the eye).

Shawn is just the absolute best. Loved him in the nineties, and his feud with the undertaker in 97-98 got me back into wrestling.

Watching Smackdown.
Jinder Mahal doing a Ryback impression and going in a 2 on 1 match with jobbers and putting them both in his camel clutch. Tears! Jinder Mahal is now in my fave five for this week.

Shawn is by far and away the greatest of all time imo. I'm shocked that he's not even in a lot of the lists here. Anyway, all time fave five:

1. Shawn Michaels
2. Kurt Angle
3. Austin
4. Rock
5. Triple H

Trips just beat out Y2J here. I love Foley, Bret and Taker as well, but I loved, loved, loved Mr H's before the MSG comeback.

Kurt's angle (lol) with Steph and Triple H was awesome as was his face run vs the Alliance. Was a total goof but threatening at the same time. Bryan is my current fave and reminds me of Angle so much.

I really can't look past HBK for top spot though. Not only was he an awesome wrestler but he brought so much emotion to the ring as well, especially in his second run. Everyone who gets in the ring with him looks better for it. Watched the placebo promo for WM26 earlier and there is no one around now that can bring 10% of the believabilty that HBK did.

Every prospective wwf wrestler should be forced to watch the promo during his heel run against Hogan in canada, where he played the crowd like a fiddle for twenty minutes.

Amazing stuff.

Is that the one where he played Bret's theme and sung the national anthem? The boos were glorious. HBK is a brilliant troll lol.
