I hadn't thought of that. I also find it interesting that both Finn Balor and Gallows and Anderson are going for belts at Summerslam. The Balor Club could form and hold a lot of gold when they do.

Outside of some matches from Climax 23, and a few Wrestle Kingdoms I'm a complete NJPW newbie. I'm going to change this. Damn shame though that the first thing I hear when I load up WK10 is Matt Striker. I just finished the second season of Lucha Underground and I've decided that most of the time he is insufferable. On the other end, I love the Japanese commentary. I might not understand what all they are saying, but they can really put over a match with their tone and emotion.

Find the NJPW on AXS shows. They're old matches, but they're generally also the best matches. Mauro Ranallo and Josh Barnett handle commentary for the first and part of the second season, while Jim Ross replaces Ranallo during the season.

On that note, for the first time, I watched that match between HBK and Hogan. Read up on the behind the scenes drama on it before watching the match itself. That was quite the thing. Regardless, it still managed to be a very entertaining match in its own right.

I don't think I've watched that match since due to HBK losing. Even in 2005, I knew it only made since for Shawn to go over then after reading everything else, I was just floored at the fact that Hogan went back on his word. Anyway, Shawn gave everyone the match they came to see, shenanigans or not.

Come to think, I hated that entire ppv because I wanted the opposite of everything to happen.

OJ was the man because he had that awesome theme song. JBL was my guy, I was still a huge Jericho fan, and didn't care for Orton. The Edge-Matt, Angle-Eugene, and Eddie-Rey match I didn't really care who won.

It was my idea; I had the idea of a kids based character that couldn’t do the basic things, but when he got into the ring he would emulate his favorite stars. I remember being a kid watching wrestling feeling that way, having the awe and excitement when I Hulk Hogan or the Junk Yard Dog or Koko B. Ware.

In the developmental system (OVW) WWE used to send down members from the creative team. They said I had great in ring ability but I needed a gimmick. So I pitched the Eugene gimmick to them. They really didn’t care for it and at the time I got really frustrated. I was about to ask for my release and go to Japan or Mexico, and then I found myself in a meeting with Mr. McMahon. He looked at me and said "I want to get back to character based wrestling!" Going into the meeting I had no idea what I was going to say, but once he brought that up, I told him my idea. He sat back and laughed and said "Sounds great, you’ll start on Monday".

He wanted Ambrose to both full on open with a tragic past and also to just shoot on everyone or fight for what's right or some shit. Problem there is that A) Ambrose is a highly private person who seems rather uncomfortable with talking about his past to anyone and B) he's the top dog on one brand, he isn't going to fuck his chances up talking massive shit or standing up to the wrong people.

If you have the option to play on PC, play on PC. Lots of graphical shortcomings in the PS4 version. Stuttering, horrendous pop-in, and laggy UI all suck.

It's fine and I enjoy it, but there's REALLY not much to do. I know exploration sounds fun, but you're shackled to a bunch of meters that you need to fill in order to progress, so it quickly feels like work.

I don't regret getting it, but it isn't scratching my exploration itch like I wanted. It's okay. Keep your expectations low and you'll have a fine time.

Anyone saying its a transcendent experience or anything like that, well, games are art so you're allowed to sound stupid.

The hype train has gone fucking apeshit on this, though. I truly think if you can keep your expectations lower, and not expect something it ain't (and this is entirely NMS fanatics doing making it out to be something it isn't) then you can enjoy.

$60 is ABSOLUTELY too much for this game, though. $30 would have felt right.

The game seems heavy on resource management which I find annoying. I really just want to explore different planets without having to worry about that kind of shit.
