So from the little I see or know about No Mans Sky, it's an Indie game that got a ton of attention and then became the price of a full Triple A game? Or was it always Triple A?

The game seems heavy on resource management which I find annoying. I really just want to explore different planets without having to worry about that kind of shit.

That is its biggest problem - because there's a point kind of early on where it isn't all that fun to do that.

If you wanna just go look at 10 different planets in a row, tough shit, because you're gonna run out of fuel and have to scavenge.

It was always Triple A. It got a ton of attention because of the grand scope of their ideas and the question of what if it could deliver. It gained momentum as development went on and it seemed like they would be able to deliver on their idea.

Ah, I see. Cheers for the answer! Game looked interesting from what little I saw of it. Not really my cup of tea, but I can see what it would attract the attention.

Didn't think it was possible to have a worse suit game than John Cena.

From what I've read, this game you basically just go from planet to planet... there's a whole fuck ton of them.

There is no 'finishing' the game?

It just clicked for me that even TNA's Hall of Fame is made up entirely of ex-WWE guys.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TNA_Hall_of_Fame

Sting (2012)
Kurt Angle (2013)
Team 3D (2014)
Jeff Jarrett
Earl Hebner (2015)
Gail Kim (2016)

I could have sworn AJ Styles was in there.

Honestly, all of those guys deserve to be in TNA's Hall Of Fame. The company was built on the backs of Sting and Kurt Angle and Jarrett founded it. The rest had a big hand in building what it has become.

Pretty sad.

Shows they have a mark for ex-WWE/WCW guys.

AJ should've been the first one inducted. Yeah, he's still active in wresting but AJ was THE GUY in the company. One of the first ones to sign with TNA.

Don't get me wrong, those ones on the list do deserve a spot in a hall of fame.

Hell, other than Sting all those people are still active. No reason for AJ not to be put in imo. Other than it being an HOF run by attention hungry TNA.

So this is what the shields that the Shield originally were meant to be carrying around looked like.

Dear God, they would have been ruined within the first month.

All these old NWA episodes going up on the Network have been fucking fantastic. Late 80s. It's great. Pre-WCW.

I like to think that was the same creative guy who came up with "Ice Dagger" for austin

Eh, the "Ice Dagger" thing could work as a minor nickname for Austin. Now "Chilly McFreeze"? That's a ticket for permanent status as a lower card.

Lawl. That would've killed any heat in no time.

Yeah, if they ditched the lettering and used them on special occassions for like a running conchairto it could have been cool. Too dangerous these days though given how serious we now know concussions to be.

The entrances are usually never bad for any character. They nail that shit down to a T so even if the character looks awful, at least their entrance is nice and accurate. Even in 2K16, Demon Balor or normal Balor had great entrances. It makes me optimistic that Nakamura's will look good.

Hope there's more. The chainsaw entrance is one of the weaker Bálor ones.

hot scoops from da meltz:
According to Meltzer, per the Wrestling Observer Radio program from last night/this morning, it is "obvious" based on how the angle between Balor and Rollins is being portrayed, that Finn is merely a stop gap to fill in space for now, while they try to get Reigns over again.

He says that the feud with Rusev might succeed in getting Reigns some positive heat, and if it does, he expects Reigns to return to the top spot again quickly (no specific time frame mentioned).

He DID say that it's possible Balor could win the Universal Title, but he was pretty adamant in adding that long-term, he was not going to be the top guy.

you know what to do, ISEC. we need to HIJACK every show, boo roman reigns, start RUSSIA and LETS GO RURU chants to accomplish the mission of keeping roman reigns in the mid card forever.

Just in case people still don't think wrestlers succeed in WWE despite the company's best efforts

Honestly, when was the last success they intentionally originally had? Hogan?

What made the podcast bad?

Oh my god where do I begin. Ambrose was not comfortable at all. He really didn't want to be there, he didn't want to talk about himself, he mumbled stuttered, didn't answer one question straight up.

It was as awkward an interview as I have ever seen. It did him no favors, and it painted him badly as a champion. He probably has heat now, because he talked about Vince.

Austin was trying to drag anything out of him, and Ambrose was just comatose.

It was so crazy. That ending my god.

I'm kinda interested in seeing the Ambrose interview to see how bad it is.

But I'm honestly more interested in the latest audio podcast with Strowman.

This is not a scoop according to Meltzer. That's just a thing he said offhand on his podcast and his opinion on where he thought it was going.

That hasn't stopped wreddit from whining about Reigns at full volume.

If they give Roman another shot at the top so soon after his fall, that will be the dumbest thing they could do with all the work they've done to build a new era.
