Watching the 1997 wrasslin' on the Network, I think has become one of Mick Foley is one of my favorite wrestlers. I've always liked him, but never considered him in my top 5. Now he is. I think he's also one of my favorite human beings from the wrestling world, genuine all around good guy.

I can totally see seph as Tully.

Sure, SD is advertising Orton vs. Del Rio tonight, but I'm not dismayed, because we're also getting the Hottest Free Agent in Sports Entertainment, the One Man Band - Heath Slater vs. Rhyno. If Heath wins he gets a contract for SmackDown BAY BAY

Heath is going to take the L and wrestle for Evolve.

Did you watch 96 as well? I think you see him in a better light if you watch 96 too, the beginning of his character was so great. As much as he didn't care for what they made his character out to be, I think it made him stand out from the pack and he was a great pair for Taker.

Oh yeah, early Mankind was awesome. The match with HBK at Mind Games was great and the start of his feud with Taker was IMO the start of the attitude era in full. Sure you had Austin 3:16 before that, but this was the first full blown attitude era storyline where you had two monsters beating the hell out of each other. Foley def took the Mankind character which would have died a horrible death with any other man and made it his.

In my mind Foley and Undertaker collectively saved each others careers.

Yeah, because unless he was in the mix with top talent like HBK, Stone Cold or the Hitman, Undertaker wasn't at his best against people like Vader. Mankind / Mick Foley was the perfect foil for him in the ring. Otherwise they both would have got lost in mid card obscurity as the Hart Foundation vs The World story was the real main event.

I don't know if it "saved" Taker's but it did get the company to re-evaluate his role as their random monster killer and be a legit main eventer/crossover with the normal roster

I love that Mick said, even though everyone praises the HIAC match between he and Taker as the greatest thing he's ever done, he actually goes on to say that his match with HBK at Mind Games was his greatest match ever. It's still funny to think that that match wasn't even supposed to happen. Mind Games was supposed to be HBK v Goldust but they axed that match and it was a dark match at Buried Alive. As much as I love Dustin, that match did a shit ton for Shawn's character.

In my mind Foley and Undertaker collectively saved each others careers.

That program between them made Taker into more than just a guy who said rest and peace in wrestled slow. You started to see him get out of that shell anyway in the beginning of the year. Even earlier Taker was fast and agile but he was playing his character 100%.

You have a guy who loves to talk about DC movies, a guy who loves to talk about DC movies, a guy who says "It's Monday!" and a guy who liveblogs 2000 era Raws

I might be wrong about Sami not having anything to do for SummerSlam.

I noticed the trend of Mark Henry and Cesaro being sacrificed to get Roman over the past two weeks for his US title program, and I'm thinking Sami would be a prime face for next Monday's RAW. Maybe he can be on commentary for the match at SummerSlam.

"I know Roman lost his last two matches clean and failed a drug test, and I know that the people love me and I won an incredible hard fought match last PPV, but I'm just happy to be here to cheer on Roman."

That'd be fun. I'm all for it. I love these new matchups.

I'll admit though, the Mandible Claw is one of the worst submissions in wrestling. It doesn't look like the other guy is incapacitated and the move itself doesn't look like it hurts. It's all in how Mick sells it though because he sells it like he's a crazed lunatic attacking another man's mouth with his hand. Mick sells it like he's forcing his fingers down the other guy's throat. Mick is able to take a move that in anyone else's hands would come off flat and boring and make it look like he's out to hurt the other guy.

In kayfabe logic was the mandible claw supposed to be a choke out move or Mick pushing his fingers down into the bottom of your mouth for intense pain?

Rusev is probably the brightest star the WWE has right now with the most potential, and he's already leaps and bounds ahead of most as far as achievement goes.

Ready for Czar RuRu's Summer Slam.

Rusev's only problem is that...you might not be able to turn him face at this point. Like, what kind of face would he even be?

Rusev is still the best, though. Better than Roman, Seth and Dean for sure. The complete package.

The claw was awesome on tv, sucked in video games unless it's warzone or attitude because it is hard to make your opponents submit to it.

You should tweet him to find out, that's an interesting question tbh. I'm sure it's been hit on in commentary but I can't remember any exact lines. But shit, he's back there playing with their tonsils, they would probably throw up lol

We've only been on a few dates but she's already starting to pull the "do what you want, its okay" and then she gets mad at me for it shit. She also got irked at me sticking to plans I already made one day because those plans didn't include her. Plus she's sort of accusing me of avoiding her for the last week even though I've been sick and contagious with something since Wednesday (and she cancelled our most recent date because she didn't want to risk getting sick due to her not having much sick leave).

I'm kind of MizReally.gif-ing right now because I'm like "this shit, already?"

This is fucking gold!

Interesting. Those are concerns, but not enough to call it off. Have fun, and I take it that she likes you, and wants to be priority. I thought you were talking about signs that I have experienced like:

Showing up at your door unannounced, telling you that she was "hanging out with this "friend" who started doing coke in front of her, and coming on to her" Then finding out it was a lie to get attention from you.

Or constantly trying to change who you are, how you dress, making you feel insecure instead of build you up. Those are real warning signs.

The best one of all was getting a call form my mom asking me if I think my GF (at the time) was sleeping with her then husband. Thats a warning sign.
