yoooo..that Ibushi/Alexander match. So good!

Any news of Alexander getting signed by WWE? That dude is legit.
I think almost everyone would be shocked if he wasn't. His weight pre CWC was 225 so he's barely a Cruiserweight.

My match of the year is either Nakamura/Zayn (because it was great and I was there!) or this Terry Funk/Brian Knobbs hardcore match I'm currently watching.

Jason Solomon just put up his newest interview with Bob Holly.

Check out my 90-MINUTE INTERVIEW with former WWE superstar BOB "HARDCORE" HOLLY! Bob spent 15 years in WWE and pulls no punches on a wide variety of subjects Be sure to tweet him at @TheBobHolly and let him know what you thought of the interview:

*Auditioning for a reality show on The History channel
*Why he thinks the concussion lawsuit against WWE is ridiculous
*John Laurinaitis insanity and the staph infection that almost cost Bob his arm
*Why WWE talent should be employees and not independent contractors
*A revealing, inside look at WWE's Wellness Policy
*His own experience with steroids, including exactly what he used
*Hating the Thurman "Sparky" Plugg name
*His run as Hardcore Holly and teaming with Crash
*The Holly Family Christmas skit that never happened
*Addressing the story that he "sandbagged" Brock Lesnar in their TV match
*His side of the story on the infamous Matt Cappotelli incident
*Why Daniel Puder rubbed the entire locker room the wrong way
*Getting passed over for the Battle of the Billionaires with Bobby Lashley
*Why he was so surprised by his WWE release in 2009
*Why he thinks Dolph Ziggler should be World champion right now
*The myth of wrestlers "making their own push" in WWE
*High praise for Diamond Dallas Page and DDP YOGA
*Word association on Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Vince McMahon and more!

Having an entire company centered around Jay Lethal for about 2 years was probably a bad idea.

Doesn't help how they fucked up his farewell

(Had the match on a house show and then when they put the event up on VOD they cut the big applause-fest he got from the crowd)

It's this interview just recent? It seems like Holly did something similar to this a month or two ago.
Was posted 30 minutes ago. He said he did the interview about a week or two ago but this is the first it's going out to everyone. I might have missed another interview with him?

The average age of the competitors at Brooklyn must be like 36.

Ok so I must have saw a preview or something. I'll have to bookmark it, it's always interesting to hear Holly talk.

A giant Ibushi will appear in the next Godzilla movie to have a wrestling match in Tokyo against the big G himself.

I feel like the farther out we have gone from him the more that the John Laurinaitis talent era has shown just how much talent drives the popularity.

I think it shows that once JR left on 2004 from the head of talent that the product slowly started dying.

I mean what kind of person in his right mind would even bring Kahli into Vinces office?

Or even doesn't protect Bobby Lashley from getting over pushed?

Nevermind the shit with Bryan.

Without HHH right now I'm not sure Usa cancels smackdown and the network would be DOA.

I just don't understand how you take JR out of that position, guy had the best eye for talent! He was in Hunter's ear about signing Shinsuke and the next thing you know, he's signed. You would think that they would bring him back but I guess they figure he's no use at this point anymore.

Brother Heel, if you're out there, do you think Triple H coming out to validate Cedric Alexander is better than any handshake photo he's taken?

Bluekaveli, hit me with a definitive JR signings list.

Well, significant signings.

http://www.wrestlezone.com/news/523039-jim-ross-talks-his-biggest-wwe-signings

Jim Ross: Well, it’s a difficult question. You’re essentially asking someone to select their favorite child. I think the biggest steal that we got was signing Stone Cold Steve Austin. Vince didn’t really have any familiarity with him, but I did when we worked together at WCW. When he was available and healthy after a short run in ECW,I thought that was a big get and a steal. The biggest overachiever I hired was Mick Foley. He was another guyWWE did not want. I finally through dog named salesmanship, convinced Vince to give him a try. We were running out of heels for Undertaker to work with at the time. It’s very challenging when you have a seven foot babyface to selectively match him up with heels to work with. Mick and Undertaker knew each other from previous promotions. Undertaker thought it was a good idea to bring Mick in.

The guy that’s gone on to obviously become the biggest star of the group as it relates to his movie work and notoriety around the world is Dwayne Johnson. We had a good run there with him. Several classes were good. I saw Heyman talk about the class of 2002 on Raw Monday and that was one of our better groups with Batista,Cena, Orton and Brock. I pride myself in the fact that we were diligent in finding people, recruiting and coaching up people. We had a great staff with great instructors and great scouts. It was a total team effort. I felt very honored that I got to facilitate and open the door for some of those guys to live their dreams. It was a lot of fun.

Vince did pretty well with some of his "celebrity" signings like Jericho/Big Show/Kirk Angel/Mark Henry.
The best thing for me when it comes to Mizark is saying that I was able to watch him grow up when I grew up. You knew that Vince loved the guy considering he signed him to a ten year contract but his knees and his weight kept giving him trouble. When he finally got tough and serious again in 2006 it was a good moment because the guy would've been wasted talent imo. It took over ten years but at least he got it!
