I expect Rusev vs Reigns for the US title to be set on monday. If he somehow gets pinned there, "Make Roman look strong" would be officially over.

Vince didn't use the Austin method, Austin got over as a heel. He didn't even use the John Cena method cause he also got over as a heel first. Roman was Vince trying to cheat to the finish line without doing the legwork.

You're right, they even half-assed that.
I still believe that Roman will be a heel eventually. They have to realize that where it leads to.
Will the stigma of him being "The guy" ever wear off? That remains to be seen.
The stigma itself might actually be more over than Roman is, just like the Yes chant and DB.

I've done this a couple of times now, but I love it when I resubscribe to the network after taking several months off. It's almost overwhelming all of the content I've got to catch up on. Going to start with Breaking Ground: Reloaded and then alternate NXT and the CWC.

What if Rusev vs Reigns ends in a double turn? Rusev becomes a hot babyface for Total Divas, Reigns becomes a heel because 1) He has to cheat to beat the low card champion 2) Crowd hates him.
Would be great. Rusev has the skills to be a top babyface. His YouTube interviews with Cole have been 100% gold.

Watching Breaking Ground and it's hard not to feel bad when Ryder gets the IC title knowing that within 24 hours it's getting taken away.

I think they would've performed better on a bigger scale tbh. It was underwhelming to me.
Yeah, I think it was the best match on NXT TV for a long time, but it didn't have enough time to really go places and the ad break was dumb.
Joe/Nakamura at Takeover though has the potential for something special. I feel like there's a few matches between Takeover and Summerslam that could really deliver.
