Apparently Bray is one of the boys too. Pretty obvious since he can stay in the main event after losing every single feud.

Well who the hell are you gonna use on Smackdown? I know what you mean though, but it's not like he hasn't always been decently over.

It does suck that now when he gets injured he won't make all his buddies disappear with him except maybe Rowan.

The bookers work in mysterious ways, why do you think we have Kane on SD? At least he's reliable unlike Bray.

But yeah, I still think it's interesting that Dolph was the placeholder feud until AJ is done with Cena. I think you could have Dolph feud with Bray then have Dolph feud with Cena when he gets back.

Ishii/Okada back to back with Maru/Tana was just an incredible bit of wrestling.

OTT this evening as well, with a crazy lineup. Best time to be watching wrestling friends.

So what was your favorite match from the 1st round of the CWC?

Gargano/Ciampa and Kendrick/Mendoza are neck-and-neck for me.

Like a break from Superbrawl 2000 or wrestling in general? Because after that PPV, it could be either way for me.

SPOILER:
It doesn't get much better
Just a respite from that Brawl, brother. I'm diving back in shortly.

I don't remember! But those two were definitely great.

Oh, yeah. Stranger Things update: we're through six episodes now and I think I'm feeling more negatively than Positively Page at this point. Hopefully the last two episodes are great.

"I got worried watching exchange of dangerous moves on the apron and head-first moves outside the ring, which even seemed way too dangerous from a wrestler’s perspective. And since then, I’ve been raising an alarm at these actions."

The Tozawa match was an insanely good story of experience vs a rookie.

Kendrick match is my fave.

From Chris Charlton. This is how New Japan is promoting the J cup:

The female demo is important to New Japan right now, so they tracked down porn stars to write about the j cup.

This will attract the female audience and lead to Meltzer making another twitter joke that pisses off women wrestling fans.

There is a picture of the girls to go along with the announcement on New Japans twitter but one is wearing a shirt promoting a type of sex act. So I won't post it.

I mean, as far as piledrivers go, that was about as safe as you can get. Marufuji slowly squatted half way down before dropping maybe 8 inches to the canvas, and he was leaning against the ropes.

Every evolve ippv from this year is 33% off. I recommendd evolve 64

Four recommendations just from the past four months:

Evolve 64: Cedric Alexander vs. Johnny Gargano, Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Jigsaw, Roderick Strong vs. Matt Riddle, Darby Allin makes his mark with a splat

Evolve 60: Lio Rush vs. Caleb Konley, Bravados vs. Devastation Corporation, Gargano vs. Marty Scurll, Catch Point vs. Catch Point, Chris Hero d. Zack Sabre Jr.

Evolve 59: Catch Point vs. Drew Galloway & Johnny Gargano, Ricochet vs. Will Ospreay, Chris Hero vs. Fred Yehi, Matt Riddle vs. Zack Sabre Jr.

Evolve 58: TJ Perkins vs. Ricochet, Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Will Ospreay, Catch Point vs. Chris Hero and Tommy End

I'm one RAW away from the Ragin' Climax myself. I do really like 1999 WWF. The matches are usually terrible but they tell interesting stories. Most people have two feuds going up and down the card.

RAW is really putting the screws to Nitro at this point. Some RAWS have most if not every title on the line. In the six week build to wrestlemania we've had a ladder match for the title, an inferno match, three cage matches, a strap match. Every title except the women's title has changed hands at least once since the start of the year, more often than not on RAW.

The only thing I didn't really like was the outcome of the 99 Royal Rumble. I actually love the ppv and the match is fun, but McMahon wins, gives up his shot the next night, and Austin just gets it because he talked to the commissioner. This sort of stakeless outcome is the thing that I hate about Russo style booking and is a huge problem in his WCW and TNA styles. Do the big swerve...and then reverse it the next show. Let this stuff breathe a little. That's why the best Russo style swerves are stuff like Survivor Series 1998 where the Rock becomes the corporate champion and stays champion for awhile.

Val Venis is also really hot during this period but suffers from the same idea. He'll convince a hot women who is connected with one of his rivals to join him in a swerve...and then kick her out a week later. Rinse and repeat.

Kane and Chyna are part of some really fun stuff now. Sable is heel...right before her playboy spread is out. Kinda odd choice here. Heel JR is in business...but everyone loves him and hates Cole. King is part of this love triangle.

So what's the reason behind Hideo Itami not using the GTS in WWE?

I mean, Punk basically stole it from him, so

Why is it that every heel champion ever in WWE is a coward who won't take on anyone. Like even in NXT, the Revival are acting like they don't want to fight Gargano and Ciampa, who are basically two tiny dudes.

Are you almost ready for The Grind?

How about that Gangrel Xpac match?

X to the PAC is super hot right now.

HHH and him are the better DX Tag Team now, continually chasing after Chyna and Kane. He's going to get him some of Shane.

Shane was a much better speaker 17 years ago. He's probably best when unscripted. Not that he didn't flub but he sure as shit flowed more naturally.

Vince has been on fire all year. He just wants Austin to die. That's all. Oh and he doesn't want Undertaker to rape/murder his family.

X Pac was the man, the real leader during that period. I remember my older cousin being an X Pac mark while I was a fan of The Rock, Capital Carnage? Oh man, that was a great one to watch together.

Shane is the greatest hype man imo, he can get anyone around him over. The only thing is, he was so cool, you didn't hate him, you wanted him to win tbh.

Vince being in two feuds at the same time was some funky shit, there's a huge plot hole I noticed in that storyline when I went back to watch it again.

It's around February maybe, you can tell that Vince wasn't meant to be the "higher power".

It still makes me laugh Randy Orton came back as a face and Seth Rollins came back as a heel

Yep. Literally the first mention of the higher power was in reference to Taker trying to take over the WWF from McMahon and the start of the Coporation/Ministry feud.

To be fair like...90% of future Russo storylines has this happen. We worked together the whole time, even when you beat/tortured my friends and family!

This of course happened in a smaller scale during the NWO story line with Bischoff, but at least that's only really one table bump and did work to obfuscate things for a few months.
