it's great isn't it? He is running by what I assume to be several Mirror Cena's whom show respect to the certified Cena.

It's cannon in WWE-Verse.

It's a shame. Mick Foley might look like a bum but he sure doesn't have to worry about money.
I wonder how many legends are in debt.

That's really interesting, I'm up to 1999 on my wrestling re-watch, right in the middle of the Flair v Bischoff power control feud for WCW. Bischoff went on a huge rant on Flair, about how Flair needs to do keep wrestling because he needs the money. Guess there was a lot of truth in it - and this is from 1998/1999.

Their covers still have a way to go to surpass the legacy of PWG. They could do it though, since they are on the rise, and PWG has been kinda slipping with the covers/posters lately.

Can't say I've really taken much notice in PWG, so would be unfair to comment on their posters. CHIKARA ones always have a nice comic or pop culture reference in them somewhere, so I'm guessing PWG ones do too.

Today the story is about a man known in the court system as Richard Morgan Fliehr, 62, born in 1949 and adopted by parents who raised him in Minnesota. That's what he was called this past April, when a judge ejected Fliehr from his Charlotte home because he couldn't pay his rent. That's what he was called in May, when he faced an arrest order for an unpaid $35,000 loan. That's what he's called on the paychecks from Total Nonstop Action, a second-tier outfit where he's still compelled to perform despite suffering from alcoholic cardiomyopathy, and where almost everything he earns goes toward old debts: lawyers, ex-wives, the IRS, former business partners, and anyone who made the mistake of lending him money.

Ouch.

Your post ratio means nothing. You can barely post all year and it wouldn't effect your credibility or status at all.

Wow nice work guys, can't believe you hit a 2nd OT for this month.

Guessing somehow this is going to kill Raw's ratings even more.

Enjoy chasing after your defunct title, i'll be heading for the far more prestigious Diva's Championship
Oh wow. Guess that shows how little I pay attention to the Women's division on Raw.

Hey man I didn't know they got rid of

Hardcore championship
Intercontinental
Lightweight

I've been a little out of touch.

The good part is I hear I've missed the Nexus storyline which is a blessing so I heard.

Woah, the light heavyweight title is a blast from the past, that one was phased out back in 2001 or something.

The Nexus storyline is one of two halves, one half is actually great and the other is like bashing your head against a desk in frustration. The Cena as a member of Nexus plot could have been so much better, the best to come out of it was stuff like this so......yeah

They got rid of that too? Shiiiit, I thought it was just on some insignificant dude on SD!

The Cruiser weight title might come back so that's exciting.

Cody Rhodes will restore the IC title's glory. Between himself and Wade Barruh, they will give it the treatment it deserves!

Aspire for good posts instead of just the +1's that everybody on that list is content with. There are probably a dozen good posts across the thousands that make up that list.

Quality over quantity is key. I pretty much ignore the thread on Monday evenings, Thursday evenings, Friday evenings, and Sunday evenings if there is a PPV. I just can't mix in with the "dat punch" etc that goes on during broadcasts. Not my thing.

I live for the tues-wed-sat crowd! And it's an excuse to post some WCW Archive videos and have people watch them :)

Yeah, its all about work rate on the indy scene, don't sell yourself out like the big guns have. They turn up, sprout their 10 year old catchphrase, receive their pop and go back home. Sweat your craft out like the rest of us nobodies. You won't receive much fame, but when you do get some recognition its so much sweeter and truer.

Nice OP, Plywood.

May be a problem for my power if I wanted to see TNA tonight, but I guess it's nature's way of telling me to stay away from that channel. Stay safe, everyone.

Love that Chikara poster. Really looking forward to the iPPV. Hope they do more, more than happy for them to find more ways to take my money.

Yes Cody will restore it. He wants both IC and World Champ. Heck if they brought back the light heavyweight belt he'll have that too

That Flair story is fucking mind boggling. He's basically worth nothing! What a fucking shame.
I think ever member of Gaf is technically worth more than him. Got five bucks in your savings account? Yup, worth more than FLAIR!

Maybe we can let him sleep on our Wrasslin Gaf couch?

Jeez. This is so depressing for me. How can a man work so hard for 30 years and have nothing left. :'(

He lived too hard for 30 years as well. Hazards of the business, living the gimmick...

HarryDemeanor said:
What'd he spend all his money on?

Stealin' kisses, wheelin', dealin', etc.

Kinda legitimately. Lawyers. Trouble. Actions that had big consequences.

I am convinced that his story will not end well. He was like a god to me during the 80's. Probably for my money the most entertaining wrestler of all time. It breaks my heart to see the troubles he brought upon himself.

Perspicacity said:
It can't be called controversial if no one supports you.

It's just XPac heat.

I was about to mention this the other day. Cena's detractors definitively given him Xpac heat and not just regular Heal heat.

Yeah. It won't be good. He'll wrestle until the day he dies, too. I don't think any of us will see it coming. Incredible amount of wear and tear on him, too.

Hell, I'm speaking like he's already dead, but I haven't enjoyed Flair since late WCW. Just isn't the same.

Be careful. He might get drunk and crash his motorcycle into your living room.

WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU, HELMS. YOU HAD IT ALL. ;_;

Yeah, Flair's problem is that his gimmick was just his real life, albeit maybe turned down a little bit.

So who was the anonymous Raw GM after all?

Never answered.

Can't write in Jericho for the future, as he dealt with it. Hell, it's stupid.

No its not the same. When I watch his promos from 1985-1989, I almost want to cry at what has become of him. In my life I had very few people who I called a hero, he was mine.
