Fredescu et al: My girlfriends PC is a bit on the low range side and she wants to play blur and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit and her CPU is letting her computer down. I'm donating my old 460GTX t her and she needs a better power supply. What's the minimum power supply I should be looking at? Also what mid rage CPU should I be looking at?Any thoughts?

I don't think Giant Bomb has a raw list of games to have come out each year. They might, but it was simply an easier task to just copy / paste a list from wikipedia rather than doing anything more complex.
EDIT: Oh, they do. It's just broken.

So it was a smart move to avoid advertisers saying they would never go back, unlike in the past when they have quietly jumped back on after the heat had died down. Very smart move. No need to throw out the 'bullying' reason though, they aren't coming from a noble enough place to pull that one.
600-650w will be plenty. Go modular just for ease of installation.
For the CPU just go with the 2500k equivalent, not sure off the top of my head but everyone in SteamAusGAF will tell you off the bat, haven't looked into it since I built my PC a year ago.

The Leon demo was decent aside from the QTE. The other 2 were fucking terrible. WIll be picking up the game just for the Leon campaign and for drunken laughs at terribad stuff.

A good 500w would be enough for the 460. 3570K would be the sweet spot for CPU, but if you're on a budget, one of the new i3s would probably be fine.

Picked up the PSVita bundle at JBHIFI today with LittleBigPlanet, FIFA Football, 4gb Memory card, Starter Pack and also came with a SackBoy Plushie, and I also picked up New Little Kings Story along with it. Very cool.
First thing I did was log into the PS Network and download Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.
The PS Store is a little strange when browsing for games. I was browsing through the PSP list to find MHFU and it only showed MH2 Essentials under 'M'. I had to manually search for Monster Hunter to bring it up. Not sure if that applies for a bunch of other games, but it was something I noticed.
This thing is so sexy.

You can now sort games by platform!
Unfortunately, filtering by wii games also returns wiiu games because of wildcards and laziness. And some games don't have all platforms on them.
And although I haven't put menu options for all sorting options (laziness, will add them later), you can filter different platforms by replacing &platform= with, well:
Lin, Mac, 3DS, NDS, PS2, PS3, PSN, PSP, PSVita, Wii, WiiWare, WiiU, Win, X360, XBLA, iOS and Driod

Let me set the scene. At this party where everyone, myself included, was dressed as a Pokemon I became quite inebriated. Increasingly aware of my decreasing hesitation to participate in karaoke, I decided to take a fifteen minute purgatory of sorts, sitting up against a fence outside on the cold and wet concrete by myself. It was during this time that I posted a few times on my phone. At the time I could not decide if I was proving to myself that I could, if I put my mind to it, converse like a proper human being, or if I was the saddest person ever and felt the need to show off how inebriated and thus "normal" I might be to you cool people I know on the internet.
Depressing analysis showing a deep seated need for peer validation aside, I then went back into the party and into the bathroom, further seeking to purge myself of any drunkenness. Now at this party, there was a man dressed as Polywrath, wearing what I've been told is a "morphsuit". It was just a kind of full body and face blue coloured thing to me. The face part never came off, so this guy, walking around, kind of took on the aspect of a bizarre gimp.
This is a large bathroom with a toilet, so I am, let's say, two meters from the door. The door creeps open and I call out "The toilet is occupied". Then a blue covered arm snakes its way along the wall from the door opening. "Dude, someone's in here!" I say again. "Ok" I hear the gimp answer and the arm snaked out of the room. The door closed.
Thirty seconds later, the door opens again and the blue arm snakes its way back into the room. "Hey," the gimp calls out, "Do I have any hands?"
My natural reply is "I think the correct answer is no, you don't have any hands."
At this point the arm snakes its way back out again and I hurry the fuck up before the third stage of this boss fight began.
Now, on a more characteristic note, has any played the PS3 remake of Siren Blood Curse? I was watching a video with it just now and it seemed pretty interesting and kinda ambitious, if quite spectacularly poorly executed. The music also seemed super inventive and creepy.
Seems Play Asia is selling the game for under thirty dollars shipped, which seems like maybe not too much to waste on a game that might be cool?
So I suppose I am looking for people who have played the game to talk me out of wasting money, essentially.
