Did you play DC competitively? I was in 'sk, only played like half a dozen matches though since I played vanilla 99% of the time and only used as a backup.

I was playing last night and got up to, I assume, the final puzzle (spoiler:
), but it was like nearly 1am and I a. needed to go to bed and b. was kinda struggling to solve it cos, you know, tired. So I was like ok whatevs, gonna save and go to bed....but I couldn't save or get out of the puzzle screen! So ok, whatevs sleep mode.
Wake up this morning, battery died, last save back before door [9]...;_;

For that price, get it! It's a pretty rad third person shooter.
It's alright. Some people act like it's Japan's gift to shooters, but... it's not that. It's a game that takes a few modern design ideas yet still feels like it was made 15 years ago. I'd say for seven bucks it's worth a shot.
iPad 3 get. Not in a new box, but it feels pretty damn new (so maybe it's just a really, really, really good refurb). Already jailbroken (it came with iOS 5.1.1) so now I just need to get all that j/b stuff on it and I'll be set.

It is, because there's nothing else like it on PC. On console you're spoiled for choice with Vanquish etc., but not on PC.

I've liked what I've played so far - but sadly I haven't played enough. I'm up to the first castle (1-5?) and haven't started that. The first few levels felt really nice - my kind of level design where you can go in all sorts of directions and still end up going the right way.
Unfortunately Supanova and XCOM have gotten in the way of me playing it that much - I plan to get back into it after this coming weekend is DONE FINALLY.

There is no reason to complain about Kickstarters at this point. FFS think of all the games we would never have without it.
I've been meaning to ask you what sort of place you want for food. A burger joint or restaurant? Sydney has pretty much everything. We'll probably try to go for the Rocks and surrounds as the location. Could do Pancakes on the Rocks for food if you have a sweet tooth, or the Australian (where the first SydGAF was held) if you want to try kangaroo or crocodile pizza. The Belgian Beer Cafe or Löwenbräu Keller are also great choices for varied, foreign beers and full-on meals, but might be a tad pricy for some. If you have a preference for a certain style of food, let us know and we'll find a good one for you.
