There's one thing I had forgotten that I really dislike about RPGs, and that's arbitrary party limits. I know there's alright game balance reasons that they're there, but goddamnit, if there are 6 people traipising around with me at a given time why can I only use 3 of them at once?
The 3 party system usually annoys me, for some reason I settled on 4 characters as being the most enjoyable even though I grow to really enjoy the game regardless. Maybe it is some long forgotten fanboy in me.

Still multiple copies in most stores I go into for $40 lol. I think they made more CE's than regular copies.

I don't mind, pm me the details. Hope you don't want me to smuggle something else inside the game case.

don't want this to sound the worng way but imagine the ramifications if steve was still alive

"I'm going to destroy Android, because it's a stolen product," Jobs' biographer quoted him as saying early last year.

"I'm willing to go thermonuclear war on this," he said. "I don't want your money. If you offer me $5 billion, I won't want it. I've got plenty of money. I want you to stop using our ideas in Android, that's all I want."

Biographer Walter Isaacson's work also contains an unflattering assessment of Bill Gates, co-founder of US computer software colossus Microsoft that for decades served as the Goliath to Apple's David.
"He'd be a broader guy if he had dropped acid once or gone off to an ashram when he was younger," said Jobs, who went to India on a spiritual journey after dropping out of college in the 1970s.

I don't think that's an unflattering assessment, really. I don't agree that drugs necessarily broaden the mind, but not dropping acid doesn't make someone a culpably limited human.

Monday's Presidog finished on Saturday night. Feels good man.

I MIGHT GO PLAY SOME VIDEO GAMES NOW.

And by Video Games I mean Outrun 2 XBLA.

Maybe Torchlight.

I want to get that Jobs book. $9.99 for the iBooks version. Seems fitting to read it on an iPad.

Pepsi milk ain't great.

That quote is from 1997 (and public).

Jobs was amazing at what he did, but by God he was a massive jerk and a huge anal control freak. I don't know if he was a jerk from ego or his drive to be successful or what, and in order to succeed the way he did he probably needed to be. I think there's going to be a lot that comes out in the next year that just confirms it.

I find all that odd given his supposed Buddhist leanings. Given that he totally scrapped Apple's philanthropic efforts upon his return and never reinstated them, it sounds more like PR than him actually following the path of Buddhism.

My local Timezone has some Midway basketball game (NBA on NBC? Or an NBA Jam?) that has the same problem... all the court textures in attract mode were font tiles. Very cool.

I love how ignorant some American's are to Occupy Melbourne stuff with the police stopping it. So many of them comment going "Yep, this is normal in Australia. They don't have rights like other countries do and the police control them a lot". smh.

Yeah that always confused me. Apple didn't seem to act any different to any other corporation.

It is already Sunday. Only one more day until back to work. :(

Also half price tickets to the guns kPOP show in Sydney!!! Only $45 to see SNSD, TVXQ, SHINEE, KARA, MISS A, 2 AM, 4 MINUTE, SECRET, M BLAQ, BEAST, CN BLUE & SISTAR!!! I'm sure you kPOP people already have tickets to the show on 12th November but now you can try and convert your regular friends for the low low price of $45!!!

hippies were one of the cultural forces behind the pc revolution >_>

also Steve jobs was kicked out of his company for a decade. So he was driven by a mixture of work and his impending death.

If he had lived longer, he would probably have looked to philanthropy for fulfillment like many billionaires.

Except while Woz wanted to give away plans for the Apple II for free (and was), Jobs was trying to find out the way to make the most money from it.

Sounds like he was just very good at cultivating other peoples opinion of him.

I can't wait for skyward sword now. Edge 10 is making the wait twice as bad.

Given the emphasis American culture in general places on their bill of rights, it's not that much of a surprise.

Fuck 'em, healthcare and education for all!

DISCOUNT supermarket giant Aldi will begin stocking its shelves with $1 beers - including 80c cans of light - across New South Wales from next year, despite objections from NSW Health.

The state's licensing authority has shrugged off warnings against selling super-cheap alcohol in supermarkets to give Aldi the green light for 34 outlets to stock beer for $1 a can and wine for as little as $2.25 a litre.

It's official. Beer is cheaper than water.

Where are they saying this?

It honestly wouldn't surprise me. Everytime there is a thread relating to Aus someone brings up that "In Australia porn with small breasts is banned!!11!! lolol".

EDIT: I noticed on facebook some people arguing over whether one of them is dead. Call me nosy but dammit I want to know what's going on...

Wait... someone thinks someone else is dead from the Occupy Melbourne thing? If people could just use some fucking proper grammar, punctuation and spelling it might actually be readable.

Edit: Oh, completely different topics. Hokay.

lol, yeah. But alas, good grammar and spilling your feelings/ public arguing over facebook don't really go together :p

On a different note, I hear there is going to be an occupy Brisbane and Perth as well. lol. Like we have the numbers to do that.

There's already been a thing going on in Brisbane. Hardly note-worthy given the piggy-back activism and size but maybe if Quirk decides to take a leaf from Doyle's book we can have our own unwarranted and unlawful police response.

So I watched LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring on TV last night and now I want to watch the rest and read the books lul. I'm pretty sure the last time I saw it when I was 10-12 so I liked it a lot better round this time.

The rest of the trilogy are going to be on GO next week and the week after next but even though they've reduced the ad breaks they're still pretty annoying for epic fantasy films like this.

So I thought about buying the trilogy. The theatrical trilogy is 86 bucks from JB and 12 pounds from the UK. -_- fail

The extended trilogy is 125 bucks from JB and

I WANT IT NOW

I started reading the hobbit when I was... 11? It felt pretty long winded though, and I found it hard to get into. And then the book fell apart before I could finish it because it was my mother's childhood copy :s
I'n thinking about trying the trilogy though, once the holidays start. I really enjoyed the movies (though I haven't seen those in years either). I think its one of those books everyone has to read.
