I need to find music for our BF3 nights.

I'm thinking of specific theme music that i can play as we drive around in jeeps trying to be cool. Like, maybe a song from the lion king as we set off into the dessert sand bouncing across hills. In the jungle the lion sleeps tonight as we fly our jeeps into said jungle etc etc.

I mean in terms of playing (and talking) with other gamers. In terms of play experience I'm perfectly happy with the insanely large games I'm playing at present.

Where are you guys getting BF3 PC from? Retail, online, DD? Interested in getting it but don't wanna spend a small fortune. Saw Dick Smith have it for $69.

Quite a few people have bought keys from CD key resellers and activated them without issues. I believe EA have removed the English language option from Russian keys, but it's not difficult to find a region-free key.

Edit: You're looking at ~$30 for a standard edition key and roughly an additional $10 for the limited edition.

EA Australia and the game’s distributor, All Interactive, had ordered JB HiFi to pull the game immediately, but JB HiFi is said to have given all stores the go ahead anyway.

EB Games, Gametraders and GAME, arguably the nation’s premiere specialist chains, initially indicated they wouldn’t be offering the game early, but a follow up tweet from EB Games revealed the retailer had decided to go head after all.


if this is true then JB will get a fine and future delayed releases, this i can assure you. You NEVER ignore a publishers wishes to pull a game and get away with it.


also i dont think the PS3 multiplayer unlock keys will work until sony updates psn tommorow

I get a little bit shitty when I do the groundwork and people start linking to people who essentially just rewrote my story.

People don't like linking to Kotaku, and I understand the US has a bad rep, but it's utter bullshit. I'm always super careful to attribute credit and don't like it when I'm not paid the same courtesy.

I'm sure Vooks knows exactly how I feel.

I actually really like the character type so long as it's modulated with something more than "It's n-n-n-not because I like you or anything!".

Asuka for instance is an interesting character because she has a fucktonne of psychological issues layer on top of it. Kyon and Haruhi too (they're both tsundere!)

Also, I'm a bit confused with what I said and what I actually wrote! :) Cause I'm dumb like that. Just don't get how Gamepron gets that link when their story was clearly written after I broke it. VG247 did link us, but it read like I just found additional info when, in reality, we were first to write anything about it.

Anyways - this is just boring journo whinge. At the end of the day. The person that told me they bought it in a store and shows proof is the one who breaks the story. We just write it.

If its done right, it can be okay. I really enjoyed Toradora, for instance. Its just so SO overused in anime now I find it incredibly frustrating to watch. Especially when its combined with boob shots and not much else.

if she did, or who the ehck said that! For me thats the real story, JB basically told EA and AIE to fuck off after being told not to sell.

Seeing how that develops after this all cools down will be very interesting to see and if JB does receive EA games late.

It's less annoying than the shonen hero archetype though because it's endearing. There might be merit to Deek's 'You don't get it, you're a girl' idea though :p

I think that's probably it. I look at it and see annoying manipulative girl, but you guys see cute girl :p Its probably the same with shojo anime though.

Just a quick point of clarification

AIE = All Interactive Entertainment

AID = All Interactive Distribution (who handle games that have their own local publisher, such as EA / MS / WB etc etc etc)

She wouldn't have quoted someone from EA, it would've been store reps most likely.

I knew that's what went down from speaking to people on both ends of the fence, but didn't feel it was right to quote certain people who were clearly speaking off the record.

so is this the retailer rising up against Publisher bullshit as they might think it is, or will the publishers finally bite back and fuck jb up


For the sake of street dates future they need to do the latter. Serrels there is seriously a story in this medium term if you can find people who will talk about what goes down.

I imagine it would be quite boring in single player, but co-op can be a lot of fun. Especially once you start unlocking the better weapons and buffs. The rifle is awesome.
