^My wife was telling me this morning that, due to the rain, almost every community/town in the CTX area is doing some kind of fireworks show.

We gave up on that years ago. Now we just drive around and enjoy what we can see from the road.
Next month I'll be moving to a house near North Loop and Burnet. We still need another roommate to fill the house. Rent would be slightly under $600/mo. If you or someone you know is looking for a place, let me know!

I'm going to Classic Game Fest on Saturday, will be coming up from San Antonio. I will most likely be wearing one of my 1cc t-shirts, either my X68000 shirt, or my red PC-Engine shirt, I haven't decided yet.

You'd think with the amount of nerds around here there would be some bar showing it Fri and Saturday or something.
All my friends are lame and don't care about fighting games. They'd rather watch the *shudder* LOL championships or whatever the hell it's called.
Or Starcraft...ick...
I like playing Starcraft, but I just can't watch it professionally. It's almost impossible to tell what's going on without having an extremely high working knowledge of the metagame.

I'm just gonna stream EVO. All I care about is Street Fighter, so I'm just gonna watch from home. Fortunately I'm off tomorrow, otherwise I'd miss the pool due to my morning hours.
