Lol I just noticed this but I meant that the NB has a stronger engine than the NA.

Hnnnnnggg.

Sucks that it's FWD though. But if they drop the turbo Skyactiv in this thing... It's gonna be fantastic.

Yeah that Koeru is beautiful. Hopefully it goes into production, perhaps als CX-6?

Jaguar F-Pace:

Wondering about the price? Somewhere around a Macan?

$43,300. It's bigger and better looking than the Macan. It's closer to the Cayenne, but priced $10K cheaper.

God bless Jaguar.

Here's the pics from the Porsche meet. Way too many to post here, so I'm only putting up about a quarter of them.

These include stuff like the 24hr Le Mans winning race cars, 993GT2, 959, GT3 RS 4.0, GT2RS, 918 Weissach and many other rare 911 variants. Enjoy.

And as they left the event, there was not a tree in the county without a 911 wrapped around it.

Jag is revealing the XF on the streets of New Orleans. My friends are posting these:

Anyone have a base Porsche 944? Is it too slow? Unfortunately I don't drive stick so I can't get a turbo. I just want something fun to drive as a stop gap while I save up for something nice next year. Hence don't wanna spend too much.

one of the best sounding supercars ever however.

and yeh, the CGT was never a stunner but the dull paint is not helping it in that photo. bad angle too. lol.

new S4 is going single turbo V6 with no manual or dsg option. zf 8 speed only.

kinda underwhelmed by the exterior but the interior has a bunch of nice touches in terms of design and tech.

edit:

porsche owners: is the difference between a standard Carrera engine and Carrera S just the tune, or is are there anything else?

edit 2:

did not know that the previous C2S ran a 7:40 ring lap. this new one runs a 7:30 apparently.

Well they're not fast. And if you're not getting a manual it will probably be worse. Maintenance can be a pain on them as well.

Supposedly this is gonna be a CX-4... like a coupe CX-5 or whatever.

If that's the case and they drop the turbo Skyactiv in this... I actually wouldn't care if it's FWD, it should be really awesome.

Heh... one of my favorite gifs of all time.

Anyway, are there any modern Dodge Challengers owners in here?

I had the chance to drive an '15 R/T today and I fell in love. The sound of that V8 was captivating and everything about it was awesome, clutch, interior and all that stuff. I've driven a Camaro and the new Mustang before and I liked them but with the Challenger, I felt like I was at home... I really really really want one now.

Not just a tune. Totally different hardware. Current Carrera has a 3.4L flat six, whereas the S has 3.8L with beefier internals.

The new ones are both going to use a 3.0TT, so not sure what the differences will be.

Question for all of you "nice car" owners. Do you drive your sports/luxury car to work? Take a lot of grief over it? There was a lot of debate over the issue on Fchat at one time, but I always felt like those guys were in another league with their potential problems.

For reference, if I showed up in a 987 Cayman S I'm pretty sure there would be infinite amounts of shit talked about how I was overpaid, even though it's not that expensive of a car.

Stinkles

Clothed, sober, cooperative
this might be the most bland variant of a super car ever

actually...it is

wtf that's terrible

It looks vastly better in every other color and is actually amazing in real life. But super unphotogenic. F40 is ugliest super car IMO (looks like a kit car IRL) and Koenigseggs are just heinous.

I take mine to work every day. I did get some grief at first, mostly that the money could have been better spent elsewhere, and nobody really expected me to pitch up one day with a car like that given my position/pay grade. The grief quickly died down when I explained that I had been saving for this dream car for many years prior, and it was clearly not an impulse purchase.

I didn't see this posted here yet but GM has released the performance numbers for the 6th gen Camaro. The SS comes in at 3685 lbs compared to 3908 in the 5th gen SS, both with TR6060s.

And the new ZL1 or Z/28 was caught on the track

It looks like a smaller car is trying to burst out of a larger one. Like in Alien.

I think it's a very handsome car. Great work SUVing the front of the F-Type. The wife said the back reminded her of the older Lexus RX300's in a bad way though. I can see that. The back is definitely weaker than the front, which is kinda weird because the F-Type back is amazing.

Guy on Rennlist taking European Delivery of his GT4.

God dayum, I'm jelly as fuck. Look at those roads.

He also made a stop at Nurburgring. Hell of a way to break it in.

Now that's a driving road. The back roads I like to drive are still well paved due to lack of use, but if I end up tailing someone in a minivan who doesn't like to use turnouts then my afternoon is considerably less fun or fast. Those roads look amazing by comparison. Turnout large enough to be a rest stop.
