Mushishi episode 1-2
I really enjoyed these 2 episodes, they were a real visual threat. When they first showed the ritual in the woods in the first episode i then knew this would be good, some really nice animation and sound work. If i would have to describe the show it would be enchanting. The only thing i'm wondering is do they explain more about the MC in the latter episodes, since so far he is still a very mysterious character that just suddenly appears and helps people with no real background yet.

Sound! Euphonium 2 Episode 3:
Once again I do not know if I should praise or admonish Kyoto Animation for really getting the High School setting right in ways or works are not remotely interested in doing. I say this because holy shit am I reminded of the petty politics and the she hates her for x reason bullshit. At any rate we get to the core of the Nozomi sub-plot and I still don't care on bit about it. On the other hand Reina can officially die in fire at this point as her teacher crush has crossed a line with me. This show needs more Asuka because that was a wonderful moment at the end there. All and all, I am quickly losing my patience with this season and I may end up dropping the show soon.

Puzzle and Dragon X 13 DUB
A great episode, I really liked the new animation of those transformation and summoning scenes. Well hopefully they won't be reused to much, but at the very least they are very cool looking.
Tamazo and Devi got me to laugh quite a few times this episode, I love these two guys.
And that Lance/Devi ending perfect lol.
I did not watch the sub, but I really like how goood the DUB is for this show. They really bring up front the personalities of each character well.
Also hopefully we will see Ace's new armor soon... I want to see it so badly :O
I really feel that ever since DTL was banned I am the only one watching this here, which is really a shame.

Well, that conversation with Asuka was scary, was worried if she'd burst out of her character but she was her usual self. Nonetheless the determination with which Kumiko set out to ask her about her reason backfired as it turned out to be kind of a burdensome revelation. Half way through, that wasn't the only revelation she'd have to bear. While they aren't going to break things apart considering the pivotal point of time I don't think I would've revealed any of those details to relevant parties as did Kumiko. At least I wouldn't be doing that casually.
Good conversations on what competitions mean, I will have to chime in with Reina no doubt. It's always about getting better and on top of that, they provide a platform of sorts.
I'm wondering how the competition discussion and the Nozomi-drama ties in since they do revolve around the same people. I hope it does actually, it's clearly trying to answer some relevant questions and making use of relevant characters to bring it up.
I suppose, Kumiko's description of Asuka's performance at the end was a representation of how she was feeling. An enigma as ever.

So yeah, that was again pretty great. Nice animation for Akutagawa's fight and the subsequent one was neat too, reminded me of similar scene from Mistborn. Didn't really expect the story to go into such places as it did but bring it on I say.
These openings might consist of a lot of rehashed footage but it's nice to see the staff putting in the effort. As per usual with Igarashi the lead ins into Ed(&OP) are magnificent.

Still set in the past and there is no sight of the arc ending anytime soon. Feels like a completely different show than S1, this episode especially which had almost no comedy , had a very serious tone and went really dark towards the end. The ending of this episode was really something else. The battle of wits between the power users in this episode was nice.

If it goes into typical territory it'll either be they play, oboe girl sucks, reconciliation with Nozomi, gets good with new feelings. Or they reconcile first and then she gets good.
Still ~10 episodes to go though so I wonder if some other storylines will come into play
