I definitely feel the VFX would be rushed on this if they had kept their original date.

Now, what could possibly be coming out also on the new release date for-

Get out of here Barbenheimer, the true king has arrived: DUNESDAY.

(yeah, one of them will probably move, but that would be an insane double feature)

Translation: "Yeah, we don't have an actual SCRIPT, yet, so ..."

They don't have a finished script, neither did Infinity War or Endgame when they began shooting.

In fact, it's not that uncommon a practice in Hollywood for a long time:

Oh, it's very clear it's a common practice.

We're still trying to get Chris Evans and Scarlett johansson back.

LOL, I highly doubt they want Johansson back after she sued Disney. Florence Pugh is a big enough name now with several Marvel films and Oppenheimer and Dune, they hardly need Johansson anymore.

Evans already came back in Deadpool and Wolverine, I highly doubt he'd be difficult to convince to play a supporting role in the Doomsday film (although they'll like save him for Secret Wars), especially with the stink of the recent Red One disaster fresh in his mind and career.

According to what I read, Alex Perez has been very miss on "scoops" over the last few years apparently, and a lot of his "answers" to fan questions end up basically being "we'll see". It seems like his sources are mostly done for by this point.

I think I only saw 3 MCU movies after Endgame, Spider-Man 3, Dr Strange Multiverse and Thor 4. I think I'm too old for this now

I can't even be bothered to post a shocked face gif.

We ALL knew this was coming, only poor Manabyte bothered to try to toe the company line.

As the "lead up" films struggle and struggle, they have to keep reworking to try to ensure their massive inflated budget doesn't sink the entire enterprise.

Zero chance that is real

Those are the least popular characters

This is modern Marvel we're talking about, they're absolutely able to destroy their most valuable IPs. They've no clue whatsoever.

Yeah I'm happy they delayed it due to the CGI. That gives enough time for the CGI to be great

I'm looking forward to both if they do come out the same month. Huge Marvel Comics/MCU and Dune fan (Books)

Me and you both

I'm hoping that when they adapt Secret Wars 2015 that it's split into two films. Oh and to make me nerd out even more give a one to two Battleworld Disney Plus Shows. Secret Wars 2015 my favorite comic event and I hope they go crazy

The new Avengers movies have a huge issue: There's nothing leading up to them.

Everyone wanted to watch Infinity War because they wanted to see how the years-long story ended. People were attached to many characters and wanted to see their fate/ending.

This time, there's no story at all. There is a topic: Multiverse, but there's no story to follow at all. There aren't any compelling characters (maybe very few ones for some people), but they are just like announced cast without any storyline for any of them. I don't see how these two movies could have a satisfying payoff.

Also, Marvel did the multiverse the cheapest way possible, by limiting the "multi part" to just characters from the past, and characters with the same actor but playing a different version. They should've gone crazy with it and introduce several multiversal only characters from the comics. It's like how Sony has wasted Spider-Man so much, because there are like at least 20 versions of spider-men/women beloved by many (spider-gwent, spider-punk, spider-man noir, spider-man 2099, etc) Sony should have their own Spiderverse by now, but they always want to focus on Peter Parker!

In short, regardless of the many hurdles and missteps that Marvel had during this saga, they made many wrong decisions and they had nothing more than rely on cameo-fest for their movies to be successful.

Some few optimistic people are excited about these movies, but not for the movies themselves, but because they want them to represent a reset for the MCU and have Marvel start over, but doing things right again (something I don't see it happening, sadly).

We all know the next phase is the X-Men, and Marvel need to get them right. However, this time, the X-Men shouldn't be a team, but a central, interconnected universe, where you can find any superhero among them, allowing for other characters to appear in their movies and vice-versa, and not just restrict it to just "X-Men movies"

It will most likely be spirit into two films. Secret wars has the half circle like infinity war had on the A, where every other avenger film had a full circle.

In the last Spiderman movie they should've used the chance to introduce a new different Spiderman as a 4th character instead of going 100% nostalgia.
