Guys from both teams keep making mistakes by taking risks/going too fast and they always recover beautifully to bring it back so they're neck in neck.

Actually that was Golden and SpikeVegeta if I remember correctly. The two on commentary for this game are Duckfist and Sinister1, both of which speedrun these games as well.

Agreed, the 4P ones don't do much for me. Even the MM1 race was basically a 1v1.

3 or more player races only work with short games like lawn mower the other day, 1v1 is always better though.
