Love that the EST is WAT
wow why are you guys so negative? is it the time?
Its midnight here and I am drunk. Maybe thats why I am entertained.
I must say I'm not a fan of breaking the games until they are a glitchy mess. I'd rather GDQ didn't become a showcase for hacking skills. I like actual game play, not what we are seeing right now.
kinda. its still BB though. I've gotten so used to Lobos's challenge runs that it'll be nice to see it completed so quickly.
maybe you should look at the source instead of the reaction. but I appreciate you spending the time and posts to set me straight.
Can I watch the tasbot segment somewhere? I missed this![]()

Out of a week long marathon that runs 24 hours a day dedicated to that very thing, a few segments dedicated to breaking games and showing how messed up they can be (and playable nonetheless), is a great thing. Gives some variety and just plain stupid fun for a bit before getting to the real skills again. This was one of the better things out of this whole event for me.I must say I'm not a fan of breaking the games until they are a glitchy mess. People hating on TAS segment, best segment every year.

So like 98% of the time this event?
Why wasn't this at like 3:00 AM on a weeknight?
Or maybe I look at both? And you're welcome. You sound like a blast.
Hyperbolic much? Abusing glitches to get through a game quicker is part of the event, and I understand that, but what we just saw was far beyond that. Luckily it was just to show of TASbot, so it was short. This stuff just doesn't interest me, but it seemed to entertain most others, so what ever floats your boat.

BEST ZELDA COMING UP FUCK YEAH

No, it's not hyperbolic. The normal speedruns were literally 98% of this AGDQ. So there is no reasoin to complain about a few minutes of TAS.
Why should it?
Because it's bad "television".
I would be interested to watch the TAS people sit down and talk about what they did and how they did it, showing it step-by-step with detailed explanations. I'm not interested in watching a rushed and disorganized exhibition with a pitch out to Twitch chat to break things.
Give 'em a six hour block in the middle of a Tuesday night, not 30 minutes in the run-up to the big runs of the marathon.

Wait really? Why didn't they stick that in a 2 AM slot? Or just not include it. No one wants to see that janky trash.
