And these types of emails kill deals and potentially lead to antitrust ramifications.
Keep up the same energy instead of instant defensive outright dismissal. Why don't you question why MS wants this sequestered or removed completely?
Bitch, please.
Well it is pretty common to be fair.I guess at one point people get used to it.Them lying publicly isn't newsworthy?
I would like to think any business just wants ppl to by their product, service, etc. Initially at least, lol.Isn't that the reason any business does anything? To get rid of their competition?
Oh please. Phil could piss down your back you'd tell him it was raining.Well I'm convinced.
Lol never fucking said thatLook at you guys go.
So much for "we need more competition" and "competition is good™".
At least we're being honest now, so silver linings and all that.
You should be a lot more surprised than this..![]()
Anyway why is this news? Of course the purchase is made to put Sony out of business. Do we all think Sony signed a deal to keep FF16 off of Xbox just for shits and giggles?
The end game for all of these companies is to be #1.
Exactly. The only quote in the entire thread made with common sense and not with warrior sense. The article doesn’t even have the email at issue. Just the plaintiff’s filings which will always try to present the evidence in the most favorable light.
Not saying that email isn’t damaging to MS’s case, but there isn’t really anything here to discuss since the actual substance is redacted.
As expected, era is working overtime to suppress this info.

Yeah okay.. surejen.gifIs this supposed to be some kind of gotcha?
I still don’t think MS is going to remove CoD. Am I mistaken or does this supposed email say that’s the plan? If so I stand corrected.
Yeah okay.. surejen.gif
Nah.. just needed to expose your doble standard and bullshit as always for everybody... back to the ignore little fanboyI guess the email doesn’t say that. Carry on.

It seems MS is going to shoulder those losses if it means Sony will be out of business. Is this supposed to be some kind of gotcha?

Edit, that is even assuming the deal happens, which at this point seems like a long shot.
You mean the anti-trust laws put in place in the 1890s and early 1900s? This is not even remotely true. It’s true that Microsoft was party to the largest anti-trust suit in the last 30 years, but that’s it.Anti-Trust and Anti-Monopoliy laws basically exist because of MS.
Is anyone here truly surprised by this?
#SonyTooBut it's ok when Sony does it.

As they say "a fool and his money are easily parted".
But it's ok when Sony does it.
COD money means a lot to Sony.I don’t think MS would have to make CoD exclusive in order to get huge dividends from the deal. Putting them on GamePass, exclusive skins or some other trash, all the boatloads of money they’ll make off of CoD transactions of all types, etc.
It all puts them in a better position.

If Sony could snap their fingers to remove Xbox they would. When sony spends more money than it can possibly extract from a market to push out competitors?
COD money means a lot to Sony.
All these marketing that Sony does comes from games like COD. Without that funding, Sony won't be able to have timed exclusive games or have enough fundings for their big games.
That is the place MS can attack to inflict huge damage on Sony.
Ah yes the famous scenario that is happenning in your head...Do you have any proof like an internal mail that will be used in court confirming it or something ?If Sony could snap their fingers to remove Xbox they would.
Also Sony...

Member wen sony bought a publisher 30 years ago, i memberBut it's ok when Sony does it.
Email is redacted to the public.Doesn't sound surprising but I'd still like to see what was actually said.
Also how do these lawyers even know what is in some redacted email?

Matt Booty has made a fair few gaffes. You can't deny it is fairly possible before you look at the risk of the gamers falsifying documents in court. MS would call that out straight away. How those guys can even know this email exists?
But it's ok when Sony does it.
