Any hockey fans will know what a legend this man was I'm sure. As a Swedish hockey fan he was even greater. He proved that Scandinavians could make it in the NHL, and now we're all over that league.

He got diagnosed with ALS not long ago and has been rapidly getting worse. Now he's gone. Rest well.

Ah crap. Was only able to follow him at the tail end of this career. A lot of great players have died this year. LaFleur and Bossy.

Ya, supposedly he was healthy early in the year, but ALS came fast.

I remember thinking this guy had the most insane name in hockey back in the day. Sad to hear about his death.
