Outrunners: Saw the arcade version on youtube and it looks great! There isnt a home port version aside from the watered down Genesis version? I guess theres always Power Drift.
EDIT: Was that a Neo Geo Pocket version of Persona 4 Boss fight?
I am dead serious when I say I just recorded the best episode ever with Mike Mika.
Mike Mika returns to talk about the ESAs stance on preserving online games, favorite game music, genres he would most like to work on, what his Ultimate N64 Collection would look like, maintaining your game collection, future projects, IDARB on Neo-Geo Pocket Color, and much more!
Awesome episode with Mike! I love these episodes.
What the. lol I just bought your copy of Power Drift, and had no idea it was you (was just browsing ebay on my phone for games i'd been keeping an eye out for). Didnt know it was you until I got an email from paypal with your name
Begging for money to buy a product for your show? $25 for a "shout out"? C'mon, man. Why don't you emulate it like every other game you talk about?
To be fair, I also consider Patreon to be "begging". There are hundreds of thousands of people that record, produce, and distribute podcasts without taking a dime from their audiences.
Speaking of free entertainment, here is a new episode about Konami Wai Wai World 2 with Kurt Kalata!

Great stuff! Just finished listening. Music for that game sounds amazing. how are you extracting the sound?

Podcasts are not free to produce - there's time, hosting, equipment, and other expenses. If you like the content being put out you should find some way to support the show - via donation, telling others about it, participating by sending in a question, writing a positive iTunes review, buying merch if they produce any, or supporting the advertisers if they've got them.
Many podcasters that have a large audience are able to sell ads or become part of an ad network like Midroll to help fund the expense of their shows. But - to get advertising you need a pretty large audience (20k+ weekly, really). When a media company (IGN, GameSpot, Polygon) does a podcast that doesn't have ads it's more about audience engagement for a site/product that does.
No one's forcing you to support a podcast (monetarily or otherwise). But if the alternative is no more episodes, isn't it worth it?
