I know people are expecting Capcom to drop the ball release-wise (rightfully so) but I'm optimistic that at EVO we'll get a date for the next character drop. Would be neat if they decide to make it Juri and Urien (would make sense too if they're teasing both with gameplay) but that's probably a little too optimistic lol.

Two characters every two months is probably a better release schedule anyway because they're more likely to please more players with each release and can spend more time balancing and tuning each one. I think i would be ok with that if it's the new schedule - September 1st for Juri/Urien, then.

Because it's sexier this way, at least to me. Laura's alt is just terrible, imo. The models don't look good enough for them to just show a bunch of skin and call it a day, even though the game looks amazing in general.

My problem is them changing their own Tournament rules past when their grace period had already passed. If they had said 'yeah, we're changing our rules going forward' fine, no problem. But this is a bad move.

so they changed their rules. What is the problem you're having beyond that? Is it just inconsistency? What other game had characters disqualified this year? None.

I think the response has been overwhelmingly positive and there's no valid concern that this makes the tournament worse or less valid.

Agreed. Cammy is another case where I think her more covered up costume is actually sexier. You still get the butt shots in the super KO, for example, but the fact that it's not always there make it look more revealing when it shows up, even though it's actually less.

Teasing is a fine art, just showing a bunch of skin doesn't make it automatically sexy.

I think it looks good - like a skintight undergarment for mobility and a jacket on top for style/comfort. and I like the visual design of it without having to show skin, it's still shapely and sexy.
