Balrog is going to be in the Street Fighter V June update on Friday

Well, it really paid off to wait to buy this game. I bought it at launch like most of us and I feel pretty burned in terms of value (and how much I've played, but that's on me).

Right now, right before the Big June Update, you can get SFV WITH the Season Pass for $60. That's 20 characters to start, come friday, with two more on the way. 6 Premium Costumes. Leaving more than enough Fight Money to buy all the stages and a bunch of Story Mode Costumes. You'll have 20 (shitty) character stories to play through and the Cinematic Story Mode. The netcode and matchmaking will be (in theory) the best it has ever been to-date.

Meanwhile, those of us who paid $60 at launch and had to suffer and wait through all the bullshit, are still looking at a $30 Season Pass because it has yet to go on sale. They couldn't even discount the pass as a "thank you" for being an early adopter and putting up with all of this? I refuse to pay $90 for this game, dammit! The game shouldn't have launched until next week.

This game had a ton of issues (still has a couple) but holding it against them for selling the game for cheaper months after when it had poor sales is stupid. They were very clear about what the game included at launch, if you're mad about the content you got at that point then you have no one to blame but yourself.

Haven't played this game in a long time sounds like a good chance to give it another shot, boxer was my main in sf4, and he looks great in the trailer. Still have to use joy2key to play though, has capcom said anything at all since launch about them implementing direct input device support?

I would also like to know this. I'd much rather know I'd have native support before I buy the thing.

It's pretty ridiculous that they made the game PS4 console exclusive, but then neglect to think that people might have PS4 or PS3 or just non-Xbox controllers they'd want to play it with on PC.

If I had known vs CPU and arcade wasn't going to be in I wouldn't have bought it.

Capcom never said it wouldn't and is it really wrong of me to assume it wouldn't since like every fighting game of all time does

I get where you are coming from, but you also had the opportunity to play the game for months and months. That is what you paid for. Games will always go on sale at a later date, that is the nature of the business. Of course, it is always a more painful experience jumping into a competitive fighting game that people have been playing for months. That makes for a pretty rocky beginning.

I mean, that's pretty objective because plenty of us here play almost every day and feel like we've gotten our moneys worth.

With some easy shopping, you could've gotten the full game at launch for almost the same deal that's going on now. I preordered SFV for 25% off for $45, then got the season pass with another discount for $24. I effectively, I only paid $10 extra to play the game since launch.

I guess I'm not so much mad that the game is cheaper now that it has more content, but that the Season Pass hasn't had a discount and yet you can get it with the game for $60.

I feel like we deserve an opportunity to pick up the pass at a discount in a sale.

If you bought it with the season pass then, you are getting the same amount of stuff as if you bought it today, the only diff is you had to wait months before playing if you bought it now.

I've no regrets buying it on day one. The game itself is butter smooth and though single player content is lacking, it's fine for me. I agree that the game should have been an early access type launch though, because all the extra stuff is needed for casual players.

I use both of those controllers on PC, playing SF4 with a PS3 controller this moment actually.

Balrog's overhead can combo? It's something I've been asking for. Now they just need to get rid of Chun Li's overhead combo or make it -40 on block/whiff.

V-Reversals are so fucking dump in this game. Just replace Balrog Headbutt with Dirty Bull.

I was hoping for a cheaper season pass too. No complains about the $60 I payed at launch because I have been playing it almost daily
