It's the monkey avatar that does it for me.

So hot.

This same guy was even in here when I was last night, making the same arguments.

Sweet Jesus.
Yeah, that's the only thing that bothers me. Same arguments over and over again. Nothing new. We know, already. Give it a rest.

Some of us are actually interested in talking about the game. Not arguing about how terrible it is going to be compared to the old games. Even though none of us have yet to play the fucking game.

LOL what a surprise, Banjo coming out after Mario Galaxy. They will just copy Mario and try and improve on the formula, you can bank on it.

Haha, so wrong, so wrong.

I agree that criticism is fine, and crazy contraptions just doesn't feel like Banjo or even part of the Banjo Universe. They had a perfectly good franchise they could have used instead, JFG would have fit the bill completely.

Instead they took B-K plus all the characters and change them to fit the new direction the game has taken which imo is a horrible decision. It will be interesting to see just how much the world feels like Banjo when in the videos they moved away from magic to technology.

If Banjo can't tranform into a pumpkin, crocodile or any other crazy creature I will be extremely pissed and will not purchase this game.

The first step is denial, I am an emotional roller coaster ride.
Obviously not. You didn't give a shit about the "Mario Galaxy rip-off" to begin with.
krzyspc said:
I would, if I didn't own a 360!
Hey dude, we all want to know your Gamertag.

George K. said:
Let me assure you that there's not one iota of an in-game feature that isn't dripping in traditional Banjo style. The whole atmosphere of the game screams Banjo. I'm sure you'll have the opportunity to see this for yourself before the game is released.

I feel warm and fuzzy inside all of a sudden. :D

Couldn't he just direct you to one of someone who actually plays non-nintendo games.?

Why are people quoting me on the Mario Galaxy thing when in the same thread I said I was wrong.

And when did I say copying Mario Galaxy was a bad thing. This is what Rare is known to do and make some great products like Diddy Kong Racing which is superior to Mario Kart 64.

Also I don't have live as I do not pay for online, eff that steam does it right and better anyways. Before you call me a BS'er I'll post pics because my interent rep on a message boards means so much.

We know you were wrong, you don't have to tell us.

Well you said "LOL what a surprise, Banjo coming out after Mario Galaxy" sounding sarcastic and cheeky, and are we talking about 'new Rare' or 'old Rare' now as you differentiate between the two a lot in your previous posts?
Also I don't have live as I do not pay for online, eff that steam does it right and better anyways. Before you call me a BS'er I'll post pics because my interent rep on a message boards means so much.
Steam works great on 360, you're right. And Xbox Live Silver membership costs money now? You're right.

Oh dear :lol

I have faith in the game. You'll notice that the people who are skeptical of it (myself included) haven't actually played the game, whereas the hands-on impressions have been, I think, universally positive.

I'll still be buying this in the fall, though I'd be lying if I said I didn't want an HD Banjo platformer.

Even if you consider only this last page, this thread is close to receive the shitcock treatment.

Reading some of the impressions, the vehicle building interests me ZERO. All I can think of is that damn Gummy ship in Kingdom Hearts and an expanded version of that.

? You misread that. I don't pay for Xbox 360 live to play online as I find it stupid for a P2P connection, where steam on my PC offers a better service for free. Plus I get all the goodies like dedicated servers and keyboard and mouse.

I think it has a strong possibility to end up being one of the most fun games of 2008. Rare just needs to make sure everything comes together really well.

As much as I want Gears 2 if Banjo really does come out the same month I'm getting Banjo first and Gears 2 sometime in 2009.

Fable 2 vs Banjo that would be a much harder decision for me to make, but as much as I want Fable 2 (and I really want it) I would probably find it way too hard to resist grabbing Banjo first.

Games with art styles like this are very appealing to me. I would be quicker to take a game like Banjo over even the biggest of game releases out there.

Bioshock in 2007 came out at a very bad time for me because it released during the same month as Blue Dragon and so I got Blue Dragon first and never looked back since so till this day I still haven't played Bioshock and doubt I ever will. I loved GTA4 and would even take Banjo over that.

Been excited about a possible sequel to this game for a long time.

Yea krzy you were caught pretty badly dude. I can't imagine a true Banjo fan disrespecting the next upcoming game the way you seem to have been doing in those earlier posts. It looks like you really don't have much legitimate interest in the game anyway. You were knocking the game pretty hard referring to it as a mario galaxy rip off and what not and even insulted Rare as well if I'm not mistaken?

I'm wondering if blowing up Mario will be a mission, would that mean that this game will parody other games? :D

No it won't, just read the topic for once.

This is just a contraption that Rare made, you can even drive this thing, to show that all the parts of such a contraption have their own physics engine.

It is not part of the game!

(I mean, Nintendo didn't sue Turn10 for all the Mario cars, did they?)

I used to be a hater but now I'm neutral. I don't hate the concept of vehicles anymore after reading the interview that George K. directed me to. I can't wait for this game and I hope the atmosphere hasn't really changed at all.

Waaaaaah, waaaaaaah, Mario's feelings are hurt :( They were mean because the put the worlds largest gaming icon into a game with customized content :(

I just bought Boom Blox. =)

The great thing is of course Go*Nintendo has been posting videos of MegaMan, Link, and others being blown up in Boom Blox.

Disrespectful!

Awesome video though, but damn are they whiney.

You don't have to build/customize your own vehicles, you can just use the preset vehicles the game gives you.

Honestly if the option is there and it is not made mandatory, then the whole feature is a waste. Especially since it is considered the "crux" of the game.

Can I say meh? Waaaay too much vehicle. Not enough platforming. I've never been a fan of these Banjo games anyway

If you're not a fan of the previous games, maybe you might like the new direction if you give it a go?

It is said in IGN's preview that you wont be able to go very far in the game UNLESS you try to go with custom designs as well. The baby gloves might be on in the early parts with pre-made vehicles, but then there may come times where the solution to your problem will rest with your imagination.

Ghost I thought that statement was weird too and uhhh how many times must it be confirmed that there is still platforming in the game that doesn't involve vehicles? bah who gives a fuck let people think what they want.

It's a total racer you guys and all the fancy things you can build are purely to give your race cars advantages like speed racer's mac 5.

Go buy bioshock now, you would be stupid not to.

Yeah we get it, you dont own a 360, fuck off.

Wait until I got home from work, you will be eating some crows.

Bioshock is a horrible game that is a consoletard version of system shock 2. Anyone that likes that game should stop playing video games, or has never been a PC gamer.

krzyspc said:
You never played B-K have you The transformation were limited in use, while the machines seem to be the focus. Huge difference as the transformations were minor and kept the game a platformer.

Yeah, I've never played either of the BK games :lol . The difference is now you create your own transformation rather than being shoehorned into what the dev decided would work. How is that bad? The machines are just the replacement of "special moves/powers" you used in the past BK games. The difference is, you can gasp....get creative.

I told you the difference, from being a small part of the game to being the main focus. It even changes the genre lol.

You know, it's interesting that the closest thing to a positive comment in your post history is on a Wii game.

Yes, you did. It was called Heavenly Sword, and I already played it last year. I don't need it two years in a row.
Huh what? Am I just confused or is this guy trying to say Banjo = Heavenly sword?

I don't get it either...
I didn't know Nariko carries a bird on her back while she walks in a forest with a happy jingle in the background collecting music notes and bricks to build vehicles.
