Cinemax is owned by HBO, so putting Banshee up against HBO programming on Sunday night doesn't make a lot of sense. Not to mention the rest of the competition on Sunday nights. They're seemingly happy to have a show that's growing viewership and (hopefully) their subscriber base as they build the brand. As far as promotion goes, they ran ads on HBO, there were print/bus shelter/billboard ads, etc... It's certainly not on the level of what, say, HBO does, but they did do a decent amount of promotion.Besides the hash tag what else is Cinemax doing to promote the show? Why air it on Friday nights anyway? If it were on Sunday nights, on HBO, would it be as talked about as Game of Thrones or True Blood?
Chayton is badass, still not on the levels of the Albino though, that fucker was creepy,i had a nightmare with him, a couple of nights back, lol.
did you cut his penis?

The only thing I didn't like about Voldemort is the show never explained his appearance in the Banshee universe; confusing.
Well albinos are real, lol (don't know if someone can get that pale, though).
I guess he played it up by shaving the eyebrows etc to be more intimidating.
[*]Somewhat afraid of Rebecca being used as a recurring damsel in distress. I want her to go bad.

It is indeed. The opening credits sequence is specially great. Dark and moody, almost gothic, but also very pulpy and gripping. Methodic Doubt is doing a great a job.And show has some nice score. For example in the scene where dude throws basketball at the car and music starts as ball hits the car, amazing.
I think Kelly and Hood was the best Banshee sex scene. And i think we will see a lot of their relationships in the future.
Why do you think they're showing her learning to shoot, and doing so with such proficiency?
She's a killer in the making, no doubt.
I'm glad to see we are all on the same page. God, I can't wait.I want her to inherit Kai's criminal empire. She needs to be its next Empress.
Carrie's scene with her husband blew me out like no other. Ivana Milicevic gave it all.
The long awaited Kelly, Hood hookup did not disappoint. She looked damn fine and not only that, she looked buff as hell. Goodness...
So who is Hood gonna bang now? He's already hooked up with every female character on the show!!

Was I the only one who thought of this?
The relationship between Kai Proctor and Rebecca seems so twisted, creepy and wrong. Is that intentional?
YAITANES: Its complex. Its so wrong. Everything sounds wrong when I put adjectives to it. It is very loving, but it is a complex relationship. There is something a little twisted there. Jonathan [Tropper] is a twisted guy. What can I say? Thats how Jonathan conceived it. Ulrich [Thomsen] and Lili [Simmons] are just great in their parts. I was geeking out on the season opener this year, when I rolled cameras on it. I get to know what happens! Its great. In some ways, we know where its all going, but we want people really along for the ride and we want them to know that theres a plan in place. This is going to be a highly entertaining ride, if they come with us on it.
The response is overwhelming positive, though there are a few outliers that find it a little too ponderous and overwrought in terms of how the dialogue is written. Definitely worth a shot when you have some time. I imagine some people would argue that it'll work better via a marathon, but I like taking it in weekly installments.I still have to start with True Detective. Is it good?

I want Kai to bang his niece. This is the show inwhich something like this could happen.

Meanwhile in True Detective they're giving you that guilt trip for perving on Lili Simmons.
It's a crossfire!
The albino, though... you are trapped with him and his minions and that's the end of it. Oh, and he'll probably ask you to choke on his weisswurst before slashing your throat.
Incest is seldom depicted in tv shows or movies. It's sometimes alluded to, but practically never shown.
If there ever was a show that had the balls to do it though, it would be Banshee. Which is why I want it to happen. No teasing or allusion or other non-commitment bullshit.
SEX AND GENITALS AND JUICES
Don't disappoint me, Cinemax.
Yeah, i said that in jest. Not really. True Detective's efforts to pass her off as a child failed spectacularly. She's a grown woman and she looks like it. Nothing wrong with thinking she's attractive.

Hunted is more of a British inspired spy show whereas this is more like a live action graphic novel. Banshee is much closer to Strike Back than Hunted. I think you'll like it.
