Okay the spike thru Oleg's neck while he was on top of Ana and kinda holding her may be on par with the free weight kill of all my lifting nightmares. Cuddling will never be the same again.

I know you guys that been watching this from day one know this but there is a little segment after the credits for this show,so watch it till the end(those who DVR or whatever)because they are often awesome...

I predict an Epic wrestling/fist fight with that huge Indian guy sometimes this season hehe...it's going to be awesome.

Thought I read here that Origins were motion comics made from that prequel comic. Now I have it on and see they're live action. Do the two cover different ground?

There are two Origins -

Banshee: Origins is a prequel comic (consisting of a single issue - it's not ongoing) that's set 15 years before the first episode of the show.

Then there are the video Origins which are either flashbacks or like deleted scenes from the show. They add little tidbits of character development and serve to introduce new characters and storylines and things of that sort. Some of them are more worthwhile than others.

For instance, Origins: Siobhan was a flashback between Siobhan and Emmett where we learned that it was Emmett who suggested/helped Siobhan become a cop after seeing the negative effect that her abusive husband was having on her.

And then you have something like Origins: The Field, where it's literally just a video of Rebecca dancing around in the grass.

Thanks. Really glad you mentioned Siobhan's Origins because On Demand only had 8 episodes and was missing hers, found them on your OP.

Was really hoping you were understating Rebecca's but... nope.

Great Episode 3. Really loving this show.

Trying to figure out who would benefit from starting a war between the
Indians and Amish. Could be Kai I guess, he did want to make the Amish respect him again or something. Though maybe they were showing us at the end that Pocahontas did it?

Also, I love the way the show plays with expectations, not surprised if we see the Big Guy go down in an unexpected way!

Kai was banned from the Amish community for defending them with violence against aggressors, i don't think he'd try to repeat the same stunt to gain back their approval.

True, I wouldn't have even thought it if it didn't work, his mother did talk to him again after he beat up those dudes after all. And he would benefit from getting the Tribe to attack the Amish because he knows they won't defend themselves and he can be a hero and start a war at the same time, but...yeah, probably not. And whatever! This is one show where I don't even care why or who, I just want to watch shit hit the fan.

This show moves so fast, I'll assume S3 deals with his early-onset dementia from collective head-trauma. He'll cure it within the episode via KO.

This show spoils all other fight scenes for me in TV and movies. It's a good episode anytime a fight breaks out...so it's a good episode all the time.

TV i agree, even some movies, but movies as a whole? Not a chance.

*Waits for The Raid 2*

Yea, not movies as a whole but a decent amount of them have horrible choreography anymore. It doesn't help that I'm pretty observant but it's not like I'm looking for problems (as Banshee isn't perfect) but so many fights are underwhelming these days.

New episode tonight:
Bloodlines

Following a lead from Brock, Lucas visits a strict Amish schoolteacher who might have insights into the murder of Kinaho tribe member Lana Cleary--and the disappearance of Solomon Bowman. Emmett and Siobhan find transferring a captive Chayton more difficult than expected. Rebecca copes with the pain of her parents' rejection. Proctor offers Alex a peace offering, and Nola delivers a final blow for justice.

I loved first Raid, but those fights still looked like dance. It wasn't as bad as in typical asian kung fu movie where they slap instead of hitting, but even in Raid there didn't seem to be that much damage dealt to combatants, especially the main one.

Well that's a stylistic decision that can work well in television because they have the luxury of extended time frame (whereas the movie can't "rest" for an episode after a fight).
It's not like Banshee has "realistic fights" or anything.

Plus Raid seemed pretty brutal to me.

wat? every knee to the head given by the main guy and mad dog looked painful. as did some of those finishers.

Holy sh*t. Classic Banshee (without all the fighting.) Some of the parts were gruesome!

Great episode. I knew the massive Indian dude was going to escape the car ride. Of course :p

Wozzly

special needs, sexual needs
Holy fuck at the torture scene ! I fucking yelled out loud when Proctor rammed the rod into the guy's jaw.

I know! I knew the teeth pulling was coming. I was ready for that but that jaw! OMG

And Job <3 just love his character. Cant wait to see what outfit he wears for the next episode.

Also really hope that IS the last time we see Rabbit. Very powerful scene to go out like that. More meaningful than killing him I hink.
Though the post credit scene kinda hints it won't be =/

yeah that was a good exit.

hot native girl might jack job's diamonds. or something's gonna happen. i don't see them getting an easy transaction.

Yeah the similarities between Nola and Proctor have been made painfully obvious this episode. I don't think she's gonna go anywhere, she's just going to do something (something else) "fearless."
