In Japan I met a guy from America. His parents came from Iran to America where he was born. He studied psychologie and medicine so he is highly educated. He just got married to an Iranian woman and they have a child.

I was horrified when he posted on FB that he will vote trump to make America safer for his son. Even other people asked him if his account was hacked..
And now the half-brother of the president
how can that be?

Do people read the New York Post outside of the NYC area?

It's not one of those American papers I hear much about up in Canada-land.

I don't know, only time i see it is when they post some awesomely racist article. Which is sadly fairly often.

He’s also annoyed that Clinton and President Obama killed Libyan leader Moammar Khadafy, whom he called one of his best friends.
So he has pretty questionable morals to say the least.

Lol at the same sex marriage bit. It almost always comes down to those type of values when choosing the leader of the free world

Well, we all have at least one crazy person in our families. If you look hard enough. I have an uncle that is very supportive of Trump, and I really can't look at him the same again. My mom tells me all the time about stupid shit he posts on facebook.

I wonder how many relatives and half-relatives of Obama they had to check out to finally find one dumb enough to vote for Trump.

First tragedy, then farce.
Wait,

This is the half brother that is constantly fucking up that has no direct connection to Obama in any way shape or form, right?

No one really reads the NYP. Even in NYC.

Murdoch just keeps it alive for the lulz.

Seriously. It's a money loser. I'm not sure about it's web revenue, though.

The irony of the actual Kenyan brother of Obama existing and being best friends with khadafy and dedicating a book to him, and having up to 12 wives...but being against his brother and joining he Republicans is so damn delicious

This is what I'm trying to figure out. He was born, and lives, in Kenya. He even ran for mayor of some city in Kenya once. I don't see how he can vote in an American presidential election whatsoever.
He just wants attention, the cunt.

If you read the article, then it claims he's eligible to vote in MD where he worked at one point.

so he doesn't believe in ss marriage, but he believes in polygamy. what do we call people like those

I don't know what's sadder. The fact he can say this so proudly. Or the fact that it's true, a powerful political party is proud to preach this as a talking point. It's just like saying proudly that interracial marriage is wrong and glad to be a part of a party that's against it.

always found it interesting how estranged obama is from his dad's side. like one brother is a world leader, another is living a clay hut somewhere along with several others scattered about the globe and they'll probably never see each other again

"He speaks from the heart" is the biggest BS reason for voting for someone.

Honestly its not. Its basically the polar opposite and major flaw of hillary. Here's whats going on, trump, according to his ghostwriter has the ability to genuinely... legitimately believe something (he thinks, says, etc.) if he chooses to. He'll find any reason and rational and buy in to it completely. Odds are he just doesnt overthink things to help him speak "truth". Truth in the sense he has full conviction in his beliefs and what hes saying most of the time.

When it comes to unconscious communication this is powerful fucking stuff. It carries with it a form of confidence (some will view as arrogance) most people dont have.

Hillary by contrast probobly over analyzes things. Shes got a silver tongue but many times theres unconscious incongruency and thats what people pick up on when they say shes cold, fake, a liar, etc.

In her mind things are probobly more complex and shes giving the best answers she can while fully knowing its not the full story. Thats not to say shes hiding the truth, but as just about all of us know situations can be complicated with lots of factors. Her speeches many times feel political or manufactured simply because they are. If anyone has done toastmaster or public speaking you know how much of a factor emotion and conviction are when talking to an audience.

This is also why trump doesnt like teleprompters, it fucks with his ability to stay aligned with what he feels is true, which impact the feeling the audience get.

Many may not like it and say we should be rational beings and listen to whats being said but the most powerful aspects of communication are unconscious. Its easy to see by just paying attention to interactions between sexes. Or when talking and dealing with children, etc.

It's good to know that even outside the US, Republicans are now iconic in their anti-gay agenda. This guy would also make a perfect party republican with his homophobia combined with marrying a billion women at the same time. Because you know, it's all about morality.

Not particularly, but because it's a New York newspaper it's carried in more areas. People like it generally for the sports coverage, which appeals more to the 'every man.'

You're more likely to see the NYPost versus other secondary Newspapers nation wide, but it's still not very common to see anyone carrying it outside of New York and airports, or places that specialize in regional newspapers.
